This is my favorite restaurant in San Diego! The renovations were well worth the wait! The first time we went, we sat in the first dining room. When they took us to our table this time we basically got a tour of the beautiful restaurant and the new architecture. Food is amazing and I love their rotating menu. Dinks took a bit of time to arrive, but they were incredible. I'm not sure if you can get something and be disappointed. I love how they expand my palette and introduce new flavors! I will for sure be back!

Always great service! It was so busy Saturday night. We had to wait a little after our reservation time but we were able to get cute photos in the meantime and our server Rafael was amazing. He was attentive and offered to take photos of us all.

The ambiance was awesome through and through. We really appreciated the different environments being the under the stars area and the woodsy/ forest area. Our server (I don’t remember his name) was awesome. Very polite and answered all of our questions with a smile! The food on the other hand was mediocre at best. We ordered the Wagyu and Yellowtail Tartare and it was very fishy. Almost inedible fishy as if it was sitting in the fridge premade for a few days. We then ordered the Mac n Cheese and the Steak Sampler. Steak was cooked to perfection but was a VERY small portion for $97. Mac N Cheese was very good as well. Smoky and delicious but I’d expect a larger portion than an ice cream scoop for $14! This side was also supposed to feed 2-3 people so I’m not sure who’s out there eating 4 single macaroni as a side. I don’t think we’ll be back just due to the cost and portion sizes but is a good spot if you want to give it a try.

The restaurant was amazing to enter, lively music, and everywhere you looked was nice, I especially liked the lighting! Food was delicious, sides, main course, and dessert! Overall I had a great time, but for such a highly rated restaurant it did lack in some aspects. It was a Friday night so very busy. For a table of 2 it took 15 extra minutes to get seated with a reservation, I had reserved for outside but got inside. Throughout the night our water rarely got refilled, and our drinks took about 25 minutes to get after seating. Also parking in this area is different than what I am used to. Despite this, I would come again, maybe on a weekday and I recommend the staff get bigger cups for the water especially if they won’t be getting refilled consistently!

We went to Starlite for our 5th wedding anniversary. The staff is incredible: energetic and attentive. The food was incredible. Waygu Fat Radishes were ridiculous. The drinks weren't strong but they weren't weak. The staff brought them fast, and they were always checking if we needed anything else. The atmosphere rocked. Highly recommended for a special night out.
