A word from Spago - Beverly Hills
Spago Beverly Hills, Wolfgang Puck's legendary, flagship restaurant, continues to set the standard for cuisine, service and style, and is consistently recognized as the ultimate in fine dining. Spago presents a completely new menu and design. The master chef has re-invented the entire menu with his signature farm to table philosophy. Puck, along with Managing Partner and James Beard Award-winning Executive Chef Lee Hefter, creates imaginative seasonal menus showcasing the best of California’s produce and products. Spago's new design from Waldo Fernandez complements the food with its clean and simple aesthetic, incorporating natural elements to add an organic feel. Spago is the recipient of the AAA Four Diamond Award and received two stars in The Michelin Guide-Los Angeles edition, one of only three restaurants in the city to win this coveted distinction. In 2010, 2011 and 2012, the restaurant earned the prestigious Wine Spectator Grand Award, the publication's highest honors.

Diner Reviews
  • "After a lackluster meal at Spago in Las Vegas a couple of years ago, we shied away from trying the original (well, recently moved) L.A. location. We finally tried it today for lunch, and it lived up to the hype. The staff was uniformly friendly and professional, every morsel of food was delicious and prepared perfectly, the wine list is encyclopedic, and the decor is upscale but not stuffy. It was truly an outstanding meal, and we can't wait to go back!"

  • "Really no better place in LA or Beverly Hills to eat. Beverly Hills has so many great places from Mastro's to Buchon, but this place is my favorite by a long shot. It's just so elegant and nice, great crowd and classy people with the creative new dishes each time we go. Nothing comes close in all the city and I eat out almost every night each week at only top rated restaurants."

  • "I was so looking forward to taking my out of town guests for a terrific lunch and chose Spago. I am a huge fan of all Puck restaurants and had an amazing dinner at Spago not too long ago. Imagine my disappointment and embarrassment at the blandness and utter lack of care for the food they are serving. How hard is it to at least make a fabulous dressing for an expensive lobster salad (I think $38.00) with very little lobster? What are they doing to the egg? How hard is it to make a fluffy French omelet when you are charging over $25.00? At the very least create potatoes that are less boring than the fork you're eating them with. My out of town guests each had the lamb special. While it tasted "good" each of the three chops was not very big"

  • "We made a reservation via Open Table. Unfortunately we were late due to traffic. We called the restaurant and when we arrived, they got us right in. Our waiter was funny, friendly and attentive. The food, as always, was terrific."

  • "Settled for noon lunch on Saturday after 4th of July as Sunday was fully booked but, perfect timing as it was not initially crowded and didn't feel rushed. Recommendation is to get an inside table for lunch as 90% of the people who were initially seated under the umbrellas came inside after a few minutes. Oysters were great starter and main courses of Truffle Pasta and fresh fish mains were fantastic."

  • "The menu was far better in when Wolfgang had his wiener schnitzel on the menu. The food seems overly complicated, and the menu doesn't change much seasonally. Great to see a new Wine Director who is not all about Burgundy. The list is greatly improved which at least makes the dining more pleasurable. Service was good not great, food good not great, wine great."

  • "The food is so good. The service is so good. The Ambience is so good. I like all of them. No.1, no.2, no.3 they are all good. Especially, the rib-eye steak is awesome."

  • "I have never felt so welcomed at a dining experience, by waiters and manager alike. The food, service and overall experience were just amazing. Side note, the cocktails were to die for."

  • "I have to say that I really don't go to Spago as often as I should. This is an excellent restaurant that never fails to disappoint. I first went to Spago many years ago when it was located on Sunset Blvd in West Hollywood, and I still love to go today. The food is simply outstanding; Well prepared, perfectly seasoned, and tasty. I had the roasted lamb rack, which was excellent, but really wish I had ordered the Cote du Boeuf. It really does melt in your mouth. The wine list is very impressive, although a little steeply priced. Service is spot on and attentive. If you haven't been, you should add Spago to your "Must Try" list."

  • "Had an amazing dinner after a several year hiatus from Spago and its prior location. The veal chop was exquisite, the burata caprese salad vibrant and complex. The malbec by the glass was an excellent pairing for the lamb. Fun and exciting dining experience."

  • "My wife and I enjoyed Spago's immensely. While visiting the West Coast for our anniversary, we chose this spot because of the reputation and location. We were not disappointed on either."

  • "From the moment you walked in the door, the ambiance and the staff made you feel so comfortable, starting with the speciality cocktails...We were seated immediately, and we were ready for a wonderful dining experience. The veal chop, supberb, along with the delicious garden vegetables, served on a bed of cous cous. The bread basket, the best, served with seaweed butter. The wine list is absolutely unbelievable. You could not ask for a better dining experience."

  • "If you don't mind paying big bucks for mediocre food and service, with a worn-looking ambiance and minimal portions not suitable for hefty appetites, head to Spago's. Its supposedly famed Wiener Schnitzel is but a shadow of the real thing served in Vienna, with a hefty $46 price tag. Similarly rated Providence provides a multitude of "extras" between courses and exquisite presentation, as opposed to the mundane dishes that we experienced. Inconsistent service, e.g. other tables had bread service throughout the evening, while we languished with only one at the beginning of the meal, and water glasses were never replenished. My advice: pick another dining locale."

  • "I brought 4 friends from out of town, and they loved the Spago experience. The food was really wonderful, they had many cocktails and most of all they felt very comfortable in one of the best restaurants in town because of the staff. Our server, Mimi was really lovely. She helped with menu selections, answered questions, and did everything with a gracious flair. We really thought she was fantastic. The manager came by and was also very friendly. The bar was less spectacular, mostly because we had to beg to be served. With two groups sitting at the bar, and two bartenders working, you'd think one would attend to the customers in front of them and leave the drink orders as a 2nd priority. cest la vie.... definitely worthwhile dining!"

  • "When you are paying the amount that Spago charges for pretty basic food, you at least expect a really high level of service. Unfortunately, the staff was inattentive from the beginning of the meal to the end. The food was ok, but you can find better for half the price."

  • "Spago in Beverly Hills is nothing like the late lamented Sunset Blvd. Spago. It's a huge cavernous room, filled with all the Beverly Hills types on the move. The kitchen, while open, is behind a glass wall. Gone are the pizzas and pastas that made the original Spago so special; its replacement is some mix of Asian California fusion food and it doesn't work that well. Prices are outrageously expensive. Huge wine list but hard to decipher. While service was friendly, it wasn't particularly focused; the waiter spent 20 minutes chatting up a table behind us, while we waited to place dessert orders. If you'r not known to the restaurant, it's not going to be a lot of fun. A qualified recommendation."

  • "Well after the best part of twenty years I finally dined with my wife at SPAGO. To be honest it had been so long since I set this as a goal I did not know what to expect - apart from the best - and that's what we got. An excellent meal in great surroundings. The ambience and service was excellent and the food - well worth the twenty year wait! Our server (and I hate that term) Dan was really on form and made sure that the experience was really special for both of us. My only criticism - and its a really small and personal one - it would have been nice to start the meal with a nice white port as and aperitif. Ah well the lack of it didn't detract in any way from the over experience."

  • "Amazing food & amazing service. I had the endive salad, braised beef and the cherry cremeux. The walnuts in the endive salad with the lemon-vinaigrette sauce was really tasty. The braised beef was cooked to perfection! The cherry cremeux was indeed very sweet, but it was still pretty good. I also got to try some of the veal chops and they were also delicious. I could not choose a favourite dish since they were all so good. The waiters/servers were extremely polite and the valet was helpful. I would definitely come again the next time I visit LA. Highly recommend."

  • "We went for lunch for an anniversary and we're looking forward to a relaxed lunch. The waiter had too many tables and I did not receive the attention I deserved, although he tried, I felt rushed to place the order."

  • "Great restaurant, great people, unassuming and, oh yes, the food was excellent. Wolfgang personally visited every table while we were there. It was a very special evening."

  • "This was one of most spectacular lunches I have had anywhere in America and rivals the great restaurants of Europe for food, atmosphere and service. The thing that made this especially pleasing is that the staff was gracious from the time you walked in until you left and each member was devoted to making your experience there memorable in every aspect. Portions were ample and well prepared and artfully presented. It is worth a visit there frequently to indulge your tastes and senses."

  • "Celebrating, we choose the 8 course California tasting menu for the whole table at $145.00 per person. It was a wonderful 3 hour 45 minute tasting journey we will never forget. We decided not to order the wine pairing but ordered several bottles from an amazing wine list. A somelier was happy to discuss taste profiles and suggest bottles in our budget. Wolfgang Puck came by our table to shake hands. A glorious evening at a one of the communities best restaurants."

  • "The menu it terrific. We were planning what to order on our next visit before finishing out meal. Great wine list. Wolfgang Puck came around to each table thanking people for coming to the restaurant. He was very personable."

  • "Overall the food was good, the service impeccable. My favorite was the lobster farfalle. Good portions of lobster and fresh pasta. The Asian inspired menu was tasty but given the plethora of other outstanding sushi and Peking duck places in LA (for a fraction of the cost), next time I'll opt for more of Spagos traditional fare."

  • "We had a signature cocktail in bar before dinner. Loved, probably because it had tequila in it. We were seated on time for our reservation at 8:30. Lovely booth and we faced the entire dining room. We had two courses and would have loved to finish with cheese, but they only had desserts. In any event great food, wine and service. We will have to get our cheese fix elsewhere."

  • "Spagos offers you high quality food and great service with your table seeing at least 3 different servers at your table. This is definitely a great place to come for a special occasion because with the process you will not be able to afford this every week."

  • "This was our first time back to Spago since the remodel. The restaurant looks brighter then what I remember. We first came to Spago ten years ago on a trip to Los Angeles to visit my wife's sisters after our honeymoon. No trip for us to Los Angeles is complete without a dinner at Spago's. We have tried Spago's in Las Vegas but the Beverly Hills location is the best. The wait staff know what to recommend, what pairs well together and are attentive to every need. My wife had the soft shell crab and burratta and prosciutto salad while I had the wiener schnitzel and corn agnolotti. All was excellent. Every meal at Spago is a feast for all your senses. Can't wait for our next trip to L.A."

  • "We had yet another amazing dinner at Spago, seated at Table 31 we could oversee all the people eating and being seated. Our food was perfection from the Poki-seasame cone, the sashimi plate, the soft shell crab, the veal chop and halibut were amazing. What brought tears to our eyes was the exquisitely delicious peach soufflé'. We dine at Spago BH on our yearly trip in from Santa Fe, and we dine at Spago on Maui-Wailea on our yearly venture to Hawaii. Always perfection!"

  • "Incredible meal. Every bite was wonderful. The wine list is overwhelming and expensive - hundreds at prices into the thousands - but there are several good wines around $50. It was $100 per person with a $50 bottle of wine and tip - but relaxing and delicious."
