Sotto Sopra is an Italian restaurant housed in a beautiful 19th century building just blocks north of Baltimore’s Harborplace on Charles Street. Sotto Sopra specializes in true contemporary Italian cuisine adapting farm to table. We buy local whenever it is possible. The perfect risotto, handmade… pastas, roasted meats, local seafood, and regional produce are here for your total enjoyment. Join us for our Power Lunch, featuring what's freshest and best in Italian cuisine. Two courses from our full lunch menu, $15.00. Want something lighter as the weather warms up? Join us between 5:00 and 6:30 for our Light Spring Supper: appetizer, pasta or risotto, and dessert or glass of wine for $25 dollars. "have heard many good things about Sotta Sopra over the years, but this is the first time i've had the chance to dine here myself. our server was fantastic and the food was really good as well- particularly enjoyed the items we ordered off of the specials/more seasonal menu. while i was there as part of a girls night out, it would be a great place for date night as well. will be back!"

"Missed this one in our 4 years in Baltimore, but we won't miss it again. We wanted Italian, but something different than the spaghetti houses in Little Italy. This place fit the bill, with eclectic selections, but without omitting the Italian. The ricotta gnocchi (especially with the lamb ragu) were best ever. So was the special eggplant timbali. Another dinner enjoyed the house made spinach and ricotta ravioli. Nice wine selection, salumeri and formaggio too. Our new favorite."

"It had been a number of years since I've visited Sotto Sopra - the memory was okay, not particularly noteworthy. To my pleasant surprise however, this meal was delicious with particular kudos to the caesar salad and the seafood risotto. My guest, a business associate, was equally impressed with his meal and in his case,that included desert. Told my wife about this experience and we are adding Sotto Sopra back to our list of go-to restaurants."

"This Italian restaurant is a great spot for after the theatre at Center Stage. The service was very attentive, the setting attractive, but most important, the food was simply excellent. The extensive menu had a number of specials, including a fresh arugula salad and mushroom soup, excellent flavors and presentations of favorite foods. The home made pasta, lobster ravioli, was light with a fantastic sauce. The serving sizes were just right for appetizers and main entree, so there was room for a pretty amazing tiramisu."

"I took my boyfriend for his birthday and I must say it was a very special evening. The food was spectacular, the service well timed and unintrusive, and the atmosphere is very romantic. It was a while since I've been here and glad to know that they still live up to their reputation."

"we found this restaurant by chance walking up Charles Street. It was fantastic on every level. Must say we were so surprised by the quality of the food in such an unassuming location. Will be back for sure."
