Sitti is a favorite of ours, and we ordered practically one of everything on the menu! Service was fantastic-- upbeat, knowledgeable and made some great suggestions on the wine list as well as some ideas for folks not used to Lebanese dishes. The Almaza white wine from Lebanon was crisp and perfect with the spicier foods. If you've never been I recommend the "Sitti Tasting" combo and don't miss the orange/fig/goat cheese salad. Other favorites were kibbee and the kabobs. And dessert was incredible. Ask for the tables in the windows to cut down on some of the noise-- we had no trouble hearing everyone in our party. They have these long tables that fit a large party very well. And the atmosphere is lively without being abnoxious. The food is awesome. I love the homemade bread that comes out when you arrive! Appetizers and salads were excellent...hummus, baba ghanoush, stuffed peppers. My beef shawarma was dry and I wouldn't get that again. I would definitely choose Sitti again for a large group. Was informed by the hostess that our table had been given away, and were scooted aside as she opted to seat parties with reservations for 15, 20,and even 30 minutes LATER before finally escorting us to a table. Once seated, however (approximately 15 minutes after our arrival), service and food were outstanding. Watress was attentive without being overbearing or doting. We happened to be sitting at a table near the front doors that had a speaker turned toward it. The music was incredibly loud and distracting. I don't know that I will return to Sitti because of the noise level. That is a shame because in every other way it was a great dining experience. I made the reservation through Open Table for 11:15 am. We chose to eat outside and it was a beautiful day, although a bit breezy, it was still very pleasant. The service and food was excellent. I had been to Sitti before but it was my husband's first time and he was impressed. My husband had the filet kabob and I had the vegetable kabob, his came with rice with vermicelli and mine with a lentil rice combination. Both were very good and flavorful. If you like to watch the cooks they have a window to do so. I watched the baker making the pita bread and then put it in the wood burning oven. My family is Lebanese and the food is exceptional with a high quality and presentation. I have dined at Middle Eastern restaurants across the country and this one is my favorite by far. Luckily it's only a couple of hours from where I live and in a city I get to travel to often.
The family and staff of Sitti are incredibly attentive and friendly. In true fashion they go out of their way to make you feel as if you are not just a guest of their restaurant but rather a guest of their home.

However, every time we call for a reservation on Friday night they say they are booked. We arrive the place is mostly empty. Very irritating. They try to get you down in their dark smelly basement, when the upstairs has tons of empty tables.
The whole restaurant is feeling old and a big grungy.
If you are going to serve a selection of salads, provide salad forks.

I got a taste when we held my son's wedding lunch for 18 in your room downstairs along with many other dishes and last visit just concentrated on Kebab as did most of our group.

As far as the food goes the only entree I ever get is the rack of lamb, which is flipping fantastic, though I experiment with the apps. The atmosphere is great. The upstairs is wide open and you get to watch the hustle and bustle of the restaurant , and then the downstairs is much quieter - though it's sometimes reserved for parties which can get quite loud if you're at one of the surrounding tables. Service is always spectacular. I planned a surprise birthday dinner of twelve people and our server was on point with absolutely everything - drinks, apps, dinner, checks - and we got two desserts at the end, one with a candle. The food is always excellent - this time we had a lamb and okra stew and a dish of shrimp and scallops, and both were very tasty. Service is friendly and prompt.
