    Our server must have been new. Our table was not cleared before our main course was served. An extra plate and small fork were not provided for the clams and mussels. We have had stellar meals and service in the past.

    It’s a nice location , but service was lacking in terms of duration returning to see if we needed a drink / order. Lot going on in the area so parking was also a challenge For the price the food did not meet expectations

    We dine here 1 to 3 times + .monthly & this was less than the usual stellar experience. Especially since it was our 36th Anniversary. No finger pointing, but sure you're smart enough to see where this going/about!

    Service is really good at this location but food is just ok. A couple if things came out burnt. If you sit inside, it can get extremely loud. I love their enclosed outdoor patio. That’s where we always sit.

    This was my retirement celebration, and I was a bit surprised that the server didn't offer me a little discount perhaps on the corkage fee. Still a fabulous experience and as always the food was delicious. Server was very friendly!

    Absolutely wonderful food, wonderful service. The Sacramento Il Fornaio is consistently superior. We've dined at four separate Il Fornaio locations this past year. Sacramento has the best service and they "tweek" many items to get the best flavor.

    Went here for my birthday. It was such a good choice coming here the service was great but the food was amazing. Would definitely come back and the price is worth the quality of the food.

    We had a wonderful meal here. Delicious, strong drinks, incredibly tender grilled octopus and beef filet, with an amazing sauce. Also fresh salads and really wonderful homemade gnocchi. Totally quiet and we were able to talk and have such a nice date night. Wonderful service as well.

    The food is very good although both of our meals arrived colds (Pasta and Risotto). The manager had two new meals prepared which did come out hot on the second try. That was appreciated but you would think that they would have offered a discount, or waived the corkage fee for the 15-20 minute delay.
