With a hundred-year history and over three decades of providing delicious meals to both Upcountry Maui locals and visitors, our restaurant in Hali’imaile is a must-see for anyone visiting Maui. Join us for a taste of the island’s finest cuisine and an opportunity to uncover a piece of Maui’s rich history at our conveniently located restaurant near the town of Makawao and on the road to and from Haleakalā National Park.

Farm-to-table is not a new concept to us! Our restaurant has been promoting and featuring locally sourced produce, seafood, meats and products since 1988. Our dishes are a unique blend of fresh Hawaiian food, local Asian influences and modern preparations.

    We were overall happy to have tried this restaurant. We ate here after our pineapple tour- which was fabulous. Our server was very friendly, but we had a weird long wait for our food while others who came in after us got their food before us. I blamed it on our daughter’s order of fresh fish. They apologized profusely for the time it took to get the food out to us. Overall, we enjoyed our food- we got fish and chips, the chicken sandwich and grilled mahi mahi. The mixed drinks were underwhelming and super sweet more than anything, so I would not get a drink again if we dined here again. Overall, we enjoyed our meal but would not come out of our way to eat here again, but would do so if we happened to be driving through.

    We have been to this restaurant multiple times before, about every year or two for recent years. The food is always excellent. We really love the soup that is served. Both the appetizers and main entrées are excellent. We have only been there for lunch, but it’s an excellent stop during our travels in the north country of Maui.

    Always a great experience, the Lilikoi marg was the best yet, no one the menu however it has always been a tradition.
