We are a classic Kansas City Steakhouse in The Historic Garment District located at 10th & Broadway featuring live Jazz nightly. We are currently offering a solo Jazz Pianist Friday - Tuesday on the Main Floor , Trios are down in the Jazz Supper Club Wednesday - Saturday. All seating requests are based on availability.

                I was having a difficult time trying to choose where my husband and I should go for our anniversary, and I’m SO. GLAD. I chose this place! The food was absolutely outstanding. Can’t argue that the prices are pretty expensive, but in my opinion you definitely get what you pay for. Our server was SO incredibly friendly and accommodating. It can be a bit scary to out yourself as a gay couple on your anniversary because you don’t always know how people will treat you. But every single staff member, from the host, to our server, and everyone else, was so warmly welcoming and made us feel very safe and appreciated. This will absolutely be our regular “birthdays/anniversarys/special occasions” restaurant for years to come. Thank you Majestic for a WONDERFUL experience.

                My husband and I always have the best experience when we dine at Majestic. It is our favorite steakhouse in KC. The quality of food, service and music always outshines any other place. Thank you for my rose and glass of champagne for our Anniversary! ❤️

                We were first-timers at The Majestic last weekend, celebrating my husband’s birthday. We were very impressed, overall. The food was delicious, plenty of cocktails to choose from and music was very entertaining. It’s a bit chilly in the basement area so a long shirt or jacket would have been great to have (that was simply poor planning on my part). My husband chose the Wagyu, I chose the Strip steak, we shared the sautéed green beans and a twice baked potato. We shared the carrot cake and chocolate cake, and had plenty to take home for later! We each tried different cocktails, from whiskey to wine and all selections suggested and those chosen were fantastic. Our server, Amira, was awesome! She checked on us just enough, and she was so friendly and kind. She definitely added to our enjoyable experience! All in all, 10/10 and we will definitely visit again!

                Discontinued prime rib (Fri-Sat) without stating so on website nor anywhere else. Waiter tried to make it right but other steaks were not good when served. To his credit, we didn’t pay for the meals we didn’t eat as steaks were overcooked then not the correct cut. The place is freezing so bring a sweater/jacket. Huge disappointment.

                Great service the servers were more than accommodating. The jazz was ok The food was the worst. If the price was 50% of what they charge I wouldn't go back.

                We ate upstairs. If you’re downstairs, it will be louder. We split the porterhouse and had extra sides. Mikey took awesome care of us. We love the majestic

                Food and service are top shelf. Aged steaks are delicious. I visit KC every year and try to get to Majestic. I’ve never been disappointed

                Wonderful atmosphere, wonderful staff. Ordered 14 oz wagyu ribeye medium, had trouble cutting the fat around edges of steak. I anticipated an extremely tender steak as this was my first wagyu. It was relatively tough, over charred. I've had better regular old Angus ribeye. Dissapointed

                The majestic is setup perfectly. Lite piano in the back ground, quiet, good lighting and comfortable seats. Our waiter, Ted I believe (hope I got that right!) was awesome. One of the best we have had in the last 5 years. Very knowledgeable, patient, observant, never made us feel rushed, and yet we never had to wait on him for anything. The soups were outstanding, flavor packed, and worth going for again by themselves. The steaks were under whelming. Cooked perfect, but the flavor was missing. The sides ( we tried the mushroom risotto and four cheese Mac and cheese) were also not that great. The deserts were pretty good, but also not amazing. For the price point, I felt like I wouldn’t be dying to recommend this place to anyone wanting a fantastic meal start to finish. We were a little disappointed with the main course. And it was good, but not Sullivan and capital grille good, which have similar prices. I’d go back for the soup, ambience, and to see Ted again.
