I’ve been to Both hawks in the past and enjoyed the food and service. This last time I brought some friends visiting from out of town and the service was lacking at best. The server visited our table only a couple times and we had to ask another staff for drinks order. The server seemed to not be interested in providing our table with adaqute service. I will not be returning.

I had only been here for lunch before and this was my first time for dinner. Great food, great staff, but super loud. That is why I gave ambience three stars instead of more. And while everything was superb from the wine to the bread to the appetizer to the entrée, it still seems just a little overpriced. Dinner for two was $165 including a bottle of wine, tax, tip, and an extra big tip for the great serve staff, wait and bar. But it was a special occasion and I didn't mind splurging. Definitely will go back. No vegetarian entree on the menu, but they whipped up something fabulous for me!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Service was a little slow. We asked for a few minutes to look over the menu, and they kind of left us hanging for a while. My salmon dish was excellent- cooked just right. My sister's tuna was a little overcooked, but that was probably her fault since she asked for it to be cooked "all the way through"- sometimes a good waiter will explain what that means. But her side dish made up for it. Very comfortable place, except the large bar where people were pretty loud. Yes, I will be back to try other dishes.

We LOVE Hawks Granite Bay. We have been to Provisions/Public house one other time and had a great dinner. Wednesday was a definite "off" night. Our server was great, but the food was very bland and not to the level of the Hawks brand. Especially with all the fantastic restaurants in the area, we might not ever choose that location, but we still love and trust the GB location. I hope your team figure out how to bring that same consistency to the newer location.
