   You cannot beat the view from the restaurant, at the top of the hotel on the 11th floor overlooking La Jolla. The restaurant itself has a wonderful ambiance and the service was very good. The food was very good but fairly expensive, especially for the salmon which was a very small portion with only a few small pieces of potato and barely enough vegetable to be mentioned on the menu. My wife had the steak which was very good, and fortunately was a large enough portion that I was able to eat some of it and avoid leaving the restaurant hungry.

   We enjoyed our dining experience at this hotel! Great food with a view. We had grilled octopus recommended by our waiter Arthur for starters and it was delicious, I had seabass and my husband got the steak. We both enjoyed our meals and the desert is great too, they have in-house pastry chef so it’s something worth trying. I love the vibe and view, the food and the service is great. I would recommend this place and will definitely go back whenever in the area!

   Beautiful sunset views. Limited menu options but the food we had was delicious and hot. Dennis was our server. Very attentive without being intrusive. I would not hesitate to make another reservation.

   Good food and service. Shouldn’t charge $14 to exit the parking lot.

   Wonderful venue, especially if you catch sunset. Service was very slow—took overe 20 minutes for drinks to come and they did not even start taking our order until after that. I think we changed primary waiters halfway through the meal and that improved things. I also put on reservation we were celebrating a special birthday and staff never even acknowledged that. Don’t think we’ll be back even though the food was quite good.

    We like the restaurant for its amazing view. And we have been here a couple times. For tonight’s dinner the Food is mediocre for the price! I never do this but I had to return the octopus dish which I normally love to eat at other restaurants because it was extremely salty. My husband ordered the sea bass recommended for the special entree and it was a very tiny piece of fish for $50 ! He was still hungry after eating such a tiniest portion of fish compared to everywhere else we go. Then the table next to us that seats 4 got a big group of people （about 6 more making 10 ）that came over to chat rowdy and loud, all standing closely to our table making it extremely noisy and disturbing! We did not have a great atmosphere as a result. The restaurant manager should have steered these people away from us to reduce the disturbance. The server was very good however but nonetheless we will not return to this restaurant for a while!!!!!
