  • "Surprise to find good on a limited menu. Good ambiance despite the darkness of the room."

  • "For a Monday night, the place was busy! We had a party of 9 and had a wonderful time. Food and service were both wonderful. Second time going and we will be back."

  • "I was really excited when I looked at the menu, as it has a great variety. Ambience from the minute you walk in the door is good. The place has a great feel. Once we were seated, the server was fairly attentive and then it went downhill from there. Water came out right away, drinks took about 20 minutes, and the salad and chili came out shortly after. The chili was excellent, but the salad had egg in it, which we advised the person ordering it was allergic to. They fixed the problem, though main courses were already delivered. The braised short ribs were quite good, though round 2 of drinks AND the creamed corn did not arrive. The French dip sandwich is simple and well prepared. I was really hoping it could become a regular place to visit."

  • "I ate here very recently (a couple of weeks ago) and the last time I raved and raved. This time it was definitely not as good. I ordered the Thai chicken and noodle "salad" was was pretty disappointed. For the size of the dish and the price charged, it sadly contained only dark meat chicken. Also, the lettuce was in a chunk on the side... it wasn't really a constructed salad at all, and I had to cut up the lettuce. On a positive note, the waiter (Derek (sp?)) was really attentive and excellent... obviously caring and well-trained. Oh well, a restaurant can't be fabulous every time (or can it?). I hope the next time is more like the first time, or it will probably be the last time!"

  • "I call these little gems "Food Network Challenge" restaurants because there is a certain familiarity that seems to carry across this genre. They aim for a bit of unique décor, 'way of doing things', and eclectic, yet slightly familiar. I adore the efforts. They have some misses on the menu, but those are far outweighed by the many hits. I adore that they have a VERY local beer menu. I am not sure if they are buying the food from local farmers too, but it would not surprise me. I think the best part of our pater Lunch was the staff did not rush us at all and accommodated splitting the two sandwiches between my friend and I without ANY fuss. I would return to try more of the menu."

  • "Great service really good food. Just be sure to have reservations as this place is busy!!"

  • "Reunion has amazing food. My only complaint is that the glare of the sun setting in the front of the restaurant is awful. We tried two different tables and neither gave us any relief. Our 2nd table was right next to the door going out to the patio so the servers were constantly passing behind the chair. Other than that, service and food were great!"

  • "If you are into higher level comfort food in a very happening restaurant this is the place for you. I probably would't order the salmon or plank steak again. Both are decent, but save the fine dining for a high end restaurant. You go here to get a good sandwich, chicken/rib/beef with potatoes, and nice fried dishes. Salads are good too. Its also great to sit outside on the patio with friends and indulge in reasonably priced drinks and appetizers. People watching is among the best, and the bar has a nice selection of beer and wine. If you want some peace and quiet, sit in one of the booths away from the bar. But if you like lots of people around you sit at the bar, or alongside the windows."

  • "Great place to go for a special evening out! Ambience, comfort food, and friendly service. Will definitely return, as I found 3 entrees I want to try! Be sure to make reservations unless you enjoy waiting for an hour! This place is a real hit in the neighborhood!"

  • "Tried to get in before but too long a wait. Booked on Open Table next time and was seated at table immediately as booked on a Saturday. Service very friendly, food very good and decor very well done. Loved the bacon wrapped jalapenos for starter. My entree ribs were great and the sides of warm potato salad and slaw equally as good. Even enough to bring home and enjoy the next day. My wife's flat iron steak was very good too. We will be back."

  • "We went here rather spur of the moment based on many friends recommendations. Not disappointed. The salmon dish and the ham sandwich that we ordered were prepared perfectly and so tasty. Service was attentive and friendly. Wine by the glass is a bit pricey for moderate priced wine however there is no corkage fee to bring your own. Wish we had known! Will definitely remember for next time as we will definitley return here!"

  • "We went to The Reunion with friends to celebrate their anniversary. We all enjoyed the evening so much from the delicious food and drink to the lovely atmosphere and fabulous service! We love that it is located in our neighborhood as well!"

  • "Everything was great. The service was fast and attentive but not overbearing. The drinks were delicious. The appetizers and entree prepared well and tasty and the desert was great too. Can't wait to return soon."

  • "This was our first time here, and we are already looking forward to our next trip. Though the restaurant is far from where we live, we will make sure to get here on our way to LA. Really, the food was just excellent, and we look forward to sampling even more of the menu next time. Of particular note was the French Onion Soup (superb base... very flavorful) and the fried chicken entree. My only regret is that we did not have room for dessert!"

  • "Good food. We all had something different and it was good. We had asked to be outside when we made our reservation but were seated next to the bar. It was hard to have a conversation and got worse as the night went on. Ptobay won't go back."

  • "The Reunion Kitchen is a great new restaurant in Anaheim Hills. They have a unique menu and outstanding service. Some of our favorites were the balsamic glazed brussel sprouts and the chicken & biscuit."

  • "First time there, found it on Yelp. Overall really enjoyed it. There were a few items we tried that weren't so good. Skip the spinach dip appetizer, big clumps of spinach and not so cheesy and good as we hoped. Caesar salad, not traditional, looked oily. Cheesy lookin au gratin potatoes served with the Steak were soaked in Jalapeno juice- that was a hot shock and overpowered the plate so that you couldn't taste anything else. Really weird. Salmon was great, pot pie was enjoyed by another in the party. short ribs were tender and tasty. Saw chicken dishes and burgers go by that looked fantastic. Liked the place. would try it again."

  • "First time dining. Good ambience and atmosphere. But the service was TERRIBLE! We ordered an appetizer then 2 entrees. We received our entrees BEFORE our appetizer! Really?? Then, my entree, the meatloaf, was cold! The manager came by and had the kitchen make another one. It was out within 3-5 minutes...but, it was still COLD! Never going back and highly recommend not dining here. They were unapologetic. The server then brought out a free dessert to accommodate the error. We didn't eat all of it and when we were paying, he made a very rude and snarky remark about us not eating all the free dessert he brought us and that maybe we would've wanted something else that wasn't as good as what he brought. Wow!"

  • "The menu is a seemingly disparate collection of items, but everything I've tried has been excellent! The absolute best thing they serve is the brussel sprout appetizer - garlic, maple syrup, bacon. It is amazing!! The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable, especially for how good the food is. The staff is friendly, the décor is very nice and inviting, and the noise level is good - even at capacity. I have been there 4 times now and would recommend this place to everyone."

  • "This place got such a high rating from me for their service, but the food was forgettable. We ordered the spinach dip appetizer, nothing exciting. Pretty bland, says it has jalapeno and I did not taste any heat at all. For our entree we had the steak and warm potato salad-- 5 stars for the warm potato salad, yummy! The steak was not prepared correctly the first time (supposed to be medium well but it was very pink), and when they brought it out the second time, it was over done (over well done). I feel like a restaurant of this caliber should be able to prepare a steak correctly. Disappointing. My husband enjoyed his beer, and we LOVED the butter cake for dessert. All in all, it was good, but not mind blowing."

  • "Lively restaurant with great food. Our group of six had three different entrees: the chicken with biscuits & gravy, the short ribs, and the filet, all were wonderful. Dessert was the only so-so item, the lemon brulee bar was a little dry and not that flavorful, wouldn't order again, but carrot cake was pretty good."

  • "This was our 6th visit to Reunion and they finally have worked out the start up bugs. Food was again excellent (halibut, salmon, fancy burger and french dip) and service was attentive. Ask for a table in the back corner where it is a little quieter."

  • "I live in the area and have watched this location change restaurants year over year. I'm so glad I listened to reviews and tried Reunions Kitchen + Drink! The decor was uplifting, the food was delicious, the service was mixed (could have been better - glass of water sat empty for several minutes without any service floating around), and they did a nice job with the kid menu and offering an etch a sketch for my 4-year old. I had the rosemary chicken and mashed potatoes, it was so yummy! I will definitely order that again. They had a great bar with a full beer list (Love that!). All in all, a great gem for Anaheim Hills and am glad to see if thriving! We will be back!"

  • "When we showed up at this restaurant, they did not have our reservation on their books from "Open Table." We were added to their list of folks with "no reservations" and we had to wait for a table. When I use your website, am I expected to also call the restaurant each time as well to confirm Open Table did in fact forward my reservation? Maureen Sanders"

All of us were extremely pleased with our food with both flavor and presentation being great. Our server, Lauren was just wonderful and very attentive even though she had several large parties. Great food with truly exceptional service. Can't wait to go back!"

  • "I took a friend for her birthday last Friday. The food is amazing and wonderful. The chicken and biscuits is absolutely the best chicken dinner I have ever had. Our waiter Mike was fabulous, making suggestions and changes for my finicky friend. Everything is delicious. The desserts are also just wonderful, try the butter cake! I have been here 3 other times and every time it was outstanding. These people know what they are doing!"

  • "I have been eating at Reunion since January, coordinating lunches and dinners with friends. Each of my meals has been exactly as expected. Very consistent, fun and tasty! Haven't grown tired of the ambiance, food or tootsie rolls! I am gluten-free by choice but break only for the butter cake...amazing!!! Fun to see familiar places and important to support our local businesses!"

  • "Food here is good and a must try if you like comfort food. Since I'm local I eat here often but feel like I'm always the only one in the restaurant with kids?? We think it is the pre-party place for the Fire Fox crowd and too many guys still wearing their Afflictiion t-shirts?? This is a family menu restaurant and Anaheim Hills is a family town. I hope it is here to stay!!"

  • "We came a few months back and although we had reservations, we still waited over an hour to get seated. The staff was very apologetic...it turns out that guests love the ambiance so much...they just wouldn't leave. This time we were seated right away and had an appetizer...we loved the Spinach Dip...yum! I had the halibut special...it was good (not great...just good...it is hard to do fish on a Sunday). Hubby had the Chicken Dinner - he ate so much he was over-full! Everyone in the group of 7 loved their dinner."

  • "If you are hungry and thirsty this is the best new restaurant in Anaheim Hills to answer what every you may have in mind to to eat. The service is great and the choice of seating is excellent. TV coverage on the Patio and around the Bar is great. Look up the menu on the web and you will come to like every thing because it is done different than you have had before . I definitely would return to try more dishes. The best thing that has happened to Anaheim Hills for foodies for some time."
