My wife and I were celebrating our 41st Anniversary. We’ve enjoyed The Majestic for many years. Our overall experience was diminished by the attitude of an employee who was serving other tables. Our server was outstanding. After dinner our desert was served with a very nice presentation saying “Happy Anniversary”. After it was served my wife decided she would like a picture. As a server walked by I simply asked, “if he would mind” as I was holding the phone. He asserted he was too busy with an apathetic attitude. Maybe saying, “I’ll be back shortly” or “I’ll get someone to help”?? Instead, he made his comment and walked away. It was handled very poorly and was very disappointing. As far as the food, my steak was prepared perfectly but my wife’s filet was a little overcooked. Overall, the food was very good. Much better than the attitude of the other server.

Great whiskey list. Food is good, but pricey. They are not the value they once were.

Had a reservation but when we arrived were told that it would be a 20 minute wait as they were short staffed. Wound up sitting at the bar. Bartender was swamped also. Ordered Filets one medium one medium rare. Both came cooked rare. They did take one of the steaks off of the bill. This is my second time there and maybe just an off night. Great history, bourbon selection and cool old space. Just didn’t hit the mark for dinner this time.

Fantastic experience. Waitstaff was attentive, helpful, and always willing to share their (well-founded) recommendations.

The elegance and ambience of another era! The steaks were off the chart! The music was fantastic! The surprise was the steak stew-worth the trip alone! Definitely worth a return trip!

There was not a hostess there to greet us. We waited a few minutes. The smell in the basement (old musty) was off putting. Steak was undercooked. For the price and food, I would not return.

Everything was outstanding. Nicolas was our server and he went above and beyond. Took very good care of us, explained all the items on the menu and gave us some background on the building and information on the various venues. My steak was done just right, my wife's lamb exceeded her expectations and the desert provided was almost too good eat. We would most certainly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a special place that provides outstanding quality and quantity.

We come to The Majestic on special occasions. It’s been sometime since we last dined and the experience was disappointing. The menu changed, everything is a’ la carte, which means a’ la lot of money. I ordered $40.00 salmon dish which was floating in broth. Why? A few floating tomatoes & leeks - nothing else. Was I supposed to drink it? $14.00 side dish of asparagus. If you want bread with dinner, pay $8.00 for four dinner rolls. $12.00 Crème Brulle, that is exactly what is served- no dollop of whipped cream, no fresh berries. I had to ask for a clean water glass, something stuck on the side. Then the wine glass was sticky. Sadly, I cannot recommend this restaurant anymore.
