My girlfriend and I had a 7 PM reservation and were excited to try Stellar Jay, but the experience left us disappointed and uncomfortable. We were seated at the counter in the corner of the restaurant, facing a dirty mirror, with low chairs that felt more like an afterthought than proper seating. Our backs were hurting within minutes. On top of that, we were right by the kitchen—so close that we could hear dishwashing, shouting, and constant noise. It was nearly impossible to have a conversation. We politely asked if we could be moved, and the host said he’d get back to us, but never did. It honestly felt like we were being pushed aside or even profiled based on how we looked. Everyone else seemed to be seated more comfortably, and we were left in this awkward, loud corner away from everyone. The bright spot was our server—she was warm and kind. The drinks and bread were also good, but it wasn’t enough to make up for how unwelcome and out-of-place we felt. We ended up leaving 30–40 minutes in because the whole vibe just felt off. I hope this feedback is taken seriously. Every guest deserves to feel respected, comfortable, and valued.

Stellar Jay was a wonderful experience. The food was fantastic. The service was fantastic. Seating for food is inside only, can have cocktails on the patio.

We were seated in a strange hall outside the kitchen where every employee yelled "corner" every time, as you'd imagine, they approached said corner. We also had a server on their first night of service so we had to repeatedly flag down someone for help. This may also have something to do with where we were seated. Oddly completely in sight yet entirely out of sight.

I was surprised that the space was SO LOUD and that the menu was so limited. not enough starters, no veggie entrees, and very heavy meat menu for summer. Hope it lightens up soon. PASQUE has a nicer menu option now

Extremely noisy but good service. Food was unique but the rub on the beef overwhelmed the meat. The minimum size for beef serving was 16 oz. No vegetables served on the side with the mains. Good appetizers.
