After doing hours of research on tik tok attempting to choose the perfect sushi spot for my husband and I, I decided on Sunda, and it was the worst choice. Service was terrible, took over 10 minutes just to get acknowledged and then another 5 minutes just to finally get greeted. Server seemed nice but also seemed to forget about us throughout our entire experience. No check back after dim sum was brought out, had to flag another server to get soy sauce. Empty plates sat until the next course arrived. Just so many missed steps of service. At those prices I expect to receive efficient service and they completely dropped the ball. The food was mediocre at best nothing I’d ever return for. Was very disappointed.

We had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday here! I believe our waitress name was Megan and she was fantastic!! The food is phenomenal and fresh and the yuzu panacotta is the best dessert we’ve had in a while! We’ll definitely be back!

Great place to go for a fun night, filled with yummy food! Our server Aaron was the best!! His suggestions were spot on. The miso cauliflower, the crispy Brussels sprouts, the crispy rice with the wagyu and the spicy tuna, were amazing starters. We enjoyed the black cod and the chicken inasal as our shared mains. And don’t miss the coconut cheesecake! Light and heavenly!

Sunda is consistently a standout spot in Tampa. The atmosphere and views are among my absolute favorites—it’s the kind of place I’d happily spend every Saturday afternoon enjoying a cocktail and some light bites. While I’d love to see a few more additions to their cocktail menu, the current selection is thoughtfully crafted and never disappoints.

We visited this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. It’s a great place for friends or colleagues to gather, but not for a romantic celebration. The ambiance is quite loud, and if you’re seeking a restaurant that goes above and beyond to make your special occasion memorable, this isn’t the place. However, if you’re simply looking for a nice restaurant with delicious food, this is the spot for you. The restaurant boasts a beautiful ambiance. The service was generally good, but our waiter disappeared towards the end of our meal. The food was absolutely delicious. The Oxtail Pot Stickers, Signature Crispy Rice Wagyu Steamed Buns Pork Belly were all fantastic. The Crispy Pata was interesting and good. However, the Lumpias were just okay, and the dessert, fried ice cream carrot cake, was intriguing but a bit pricey. The drinks were decent, but not exceptional. We will be back.

Absolutely obsessed with this place. The crispy rice wagyu was to die for - so was The Gambler (hope you like ghost pepper). Service was great. 10/10 - will be a repeat date night spot.
