   I’ve never had someone come back to the table and tell me the top wasn’t high enough, in addition to their service fee. That left a very bad taste in my mouth.

   This building has been many different restaurants over the years. I wish a good one would come in & stay. This one won't last long unless the food improves. We had the escargot because that is one way to judge a French restaurant. It wasn't bad but it was wonderful either... just meh. I struggle to remember the entree since it all was so unmemorable. I think we had an addition to the menu, fish with curry, maybe? Don't bother.

   When we walked in to an empty restaurant for dinner on Friday evening we were skeptical. The owner said that the Happy Hour had just ended and was busier. We decided to try it out. We had French onion soup which had good flavor but too much bread and the cheese needed to be more bubbly...More time in the oven or other method to melt the cheese. Our salads were delicious. My partner said the jerk chicken, half a chicken was the Best in Naples. My friend and I shared a filet special with a mushroom cream sauce and it was absolutely delicious. They even made some more fresh sauce when we asked. There was a player, grand piano that added to a nice ambiance. The owner could not have been more gracious, talking with us and treating us to a slice of delicious key lime pie and a shot of peppermint schnapps. We hope this small, local business does well. We plan to go back.

   We were greeted promptly by Jill for our 5pm reservation. It was our first visit and the restaurant was attractive, with tablecloths, decorative plates, wine glasses already set. We enjoyed the oysters rockefeller (a special that night). It was a good size portion (6) and tasted great. My guests each selected the French onion soup. It was good but was different than expected. A layer of what looked like Swiss cheese was melted over the top. I decided on the filet and lobster tail special. The filet was excellent, accompanied with rice pilaf and veggies. The lobster tail was delicious although slightly smaller than I anticipated. One of my guests had the filet mignon, which she ate every morsel. My other guest had the half crispy duck which was fabulous. Also served with veggies and rice pilaf. For dessert we opted for the tiramisu which was great. Jill was assisted by Princeton, who we learned was new, but was pleasant, caring and seemed willing to learn. We enjoyed meeting him and also speaking with Jill. The restaurant was not busy during our visit and we were able to engage in conversation easily. Not too noisy. We liked the fact that there is space between tables so you aren't sitting on top of other guests. The piano music from the player piano was a nice addition to the ambience. We will definitely go back. We were happy to see that Jill had assistance from Princeton because she has a lot of responsibilities. From what we learned, her husband Henry is the Chef (a good one) and she has the rest of the responsibilities (bar, taking orders, hostess, questions, delivering food). We had a very pleasant visit and recommend the restaurant. Relax, take your time, enjoy.

   The food was good to very good. Service was friendly but not well trained and a little slow; especially since they were not crowded. They were out of several menu items and someone needs to be trained in bartending skills. Neither my Old Fashion nor my friend's Manhattan was even close to those two standards. 4 drinks, 4 glasses of wine, 4 main courses and three desserts for $400.00 before tip seems expensive; even by Naples standards. This is a new restaurant ( 3-4 months?) and they should make it with a little luck and practice.

   A cute little French restaurant run by a couple, the husband is the chef and the wife is the server. Food was excellent. Parking available right in front of the restaurant.

   If you go to lunch on a Sunday do not expect the menu you see on line. There are two choices of menus, both much pricier than the lunch menu on line. We did stay but will not go back for lunch.

   We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Le Martinique. We opted the daily specials which were created from food items the chef had selected at the seafood market and butcher shop. The quality of the food and the preparation was first rate. The service was warm and accomodating; every request was graciously met. Highly recommended!

    We have been anxiously awaiting their opening and so want to support a locally owned neighborhood restaurant. Unfortunately we were disappointed on our Friday night visit. Lots of details need to be worked out to be competitive in the Naples dining scene. The service was ok, the food ok (duck and steak), but lacked flavor and presentation. Menus were poorly printed and nearly illegible, and wine and cocktail list not available. Although billed also as a bakery, there was no bread offering and no sign of baked goods to be found. Could not recommend to friends unless substantial changes are made. Wish I could be more positive.
