It was perfect. We were staying at the hotel, so we ate here first than walked over to Segerstrom to see a concert.

We were looking for an excellent brunch location for Mother's Day. We figured a hotel near South Coast Plaza should be a safe bet. We saw the menu online, and it looked great, and we got "reservations" through Open Table. Well, we arrived, and it was not what we expected. Unlike other big hotel chains, the "restaurant" was an eating space. They did not have the full menu on the weekends. And the buffet was simple and very basic. Their restaurant should not be on OpenTable--it is misleading. It is not like the Water Grill, which is in The Westin. We made lemonade out of lemons because we knew that at least we were together as a family. aMuse is good for hotel guests, but it doesn't merit being on OpenTable. It is misleading.

It is a hotel restaurant. Nothing too fancy. The food was ok, I wouldn’t call it a bistro, more like a sports bar. The great thing about it, is the bartender Marie, she is great and very nice. We will go back for drinks for sure.
