   Worst experience from the start- sarah, the server was rude from the start- the steak was served on a cold plate and cold. I've been to mastros 100x ans always claimed it was the best steak place ever. This one time I went was so bad that I would never come here again- left and didn't even eat. Mastros needs to step up and bring back the old service and food quality instead of raising prices for bad food. Also, yall need to check your servers customer service!

   I was super excited about the butter cake, but my first bite was pretty dry. The center was better than the outside, but those first few bites made it a disappointment. The branzino had a nice lemon-y tang that I wanted more of, but overall the fish was also pretty dry. Mash potatoes was almost liquid-y. Brocollini was done well! Waiter was great! Attentive and engaged! One of the servers, didn't know what the sauce on the side of the branzino was when asked. He was new, but would think for this type of establishment the team would have prepped him before serving.

   Celebrated my best friend’s bday and enjoyed an amazing meal with excellent service. Haven’t been to Mastro’s in a while as there are a ton of great spots in OC. Very happy I returned to a wonderful staple.

   Our waitress (forgot her name) was super attentive, helpful and friendly. She (and a manager) accommodated last minute changes to our headcount and got us a bigger table. The food was great as well! I’d be happy to eat here again in the future.

   Unfortunately my experience wasn't as expected. This was my 2nd time here. The first was an exceptional experience. This time it was eehh. It began with the valet service. Not one of them opened my door. As a lady I have an expectation of politeness, not here. My filet came out undercooked and it had to be returned, so my husband ate his meal partially on his own. The second time the filet came out it was cooked correctly. We felt very rushed. I had to ask the bus boy to wait a moment and not take my food because I hadn't finished. The waiter had zero personality, and never smiled, or held a conversation with us. I feel I could have gotten the same or better experience at an Outback Steakhouse. I don't think we will ever return. There are too many other great steakhouses around to put up with this service. To end the evening, the same valets didn't open my door for the second time. I believe the workers here need to be trained as to what an elevated dining experience is all about.

    It was a wonderful experience for me and my family. We went to celebrate my twins 18th birthday! Service was amazing and the food was even more amazing!
