   Fabulous restaurant in mid-town. Very unique menu which changes frequently, and which meets the farm-to-fork standards. Most everything was locally grown/sourced and most of the wines are local as well. Everything was delicious and beautifully plated. We started with the Heirloom Tomato/Mozarrela salad, and had the pork tortellini and roast duck entree’s. Everything was perfect. The restaurant is small and a bit noisy, but there is also outdoor seating. There is countertop seating next to the kitchen if you are interested in watching the chefs prepare dinners - we declined on the opportunity. Service was excellent as well. One of the best restaurants we’ve been to in the Sacramento area, well worth the price.

   It was our daughter’s 30th bday. Food was great! Ambiance was great! We all enjoyed our dinner and experience there!

   This is my favorite restaurant in Sacramento, and we have eaten here many times. I have had so many amazing meals here, and we try to come here for our anniversary and/or birthdays. It was our 14th wedding anniversary, and tonight's meal was every bit as good as any meal I have ever had here, or anywhere! Thank you so much Julia, Sara Jean, Dan, and Patrick.    We used to love to have dinner at Mulvaney's, but our last two times there we had to realize that the food is at the most mediocre, the presentation not at expectation, and the price outrageous for what they serve you. Menu pretty limited, too. The ambience and the service were, as usual, superb.

   Great downtown restaurant - from drinks at the bar to dessert at the table ... everything was pretty darn perfect. We all loved our dinners, the service was friendly, the atmosphere lively (difficult for those that may have a tough time hearing in loud / open locales) ... a "must" in Sacramento.

   We love Mulvaney's B&L--always the place we go to celebrate special occasions (and also just to enjoy the food and the patio). Food is always delicious and current for the season. Service is outstanding. What's not to love about Mulvaney's?

   I would recommend but beware of the location in a vintage building with no signage and parking, plan ahead. My pork chop was very good my wife’s fish was a bit over seasoned for her taste. Menu seams a bit limited but was relevant for the times in Sacramento. Spice cake was a bit dense for “cake” liked the ding-dong but would have preferred a sponge cake instead of the flour less cake type. Wine by the glass options were limited.

   Mulvaney's never disappoints, and our dinner last week was no exception. If it's anywhere from April to October and decent weather do what you can to sit outside. Share as many things and possible and soak up just how knowledgeable the servers are. Hard to go wrong at Mulvaney's!
