  • Private Party Facilities: Five beautifully appointed private dining rooms. The perfect location for your company party, reception, business luncheon or meetings. Also a beautiful location for weddings, rehearsals and engagement parties. Wireless internet available. We offer audio, video and internet hookups for presentations. Three rooms are adjoined by French glass doors and have a combined capacity of 110 for a sit down dinner or up to 200 for a cocktail reception. The entire restaurant can accommodate 190 seated and 300 reception. Christmas Party Bookings are now being accepted. Christmas menus are available annually in October.

Q Haute Cuisine offers a seasonally inspired singular dining experience based on the freshest local produce. Our goal is to create a place with flavours in movement, where senses are stimulated, and products are as sustainable as possible. Choose between our Natura and Voyage menus, ranging from $99 - $129, not including Sommelier selected wine pairings. With advanced notice, we are able to cater to any dietary aversions. Please allow up to 180 minutes for your dining experience. Daily gourmet express lunch, private rooms and catering services also available. Continued

We discovered flavours we had never before tasted and they were paired perfectly with just the right wines. Highest compliments!"

  • "The menu at this restaurant is defintely geared towards foodies - with no a la carte offerings, and two tasting menus, it's not designed for the picky eater. That said, when asked if there were any allergies or strong prefrences at the table, we specified that one of our party disliked goat cheese, and goat cheese made an appearance in one of the courses anyway (which the server was unapologetic for). The wine list here is only ok, with a fair amount of selection in the upper price range, but not much in the way of more modest offerings (when I selected a wine at a $60 price point, the server told me it was not good and I should try a different one - at a $100 price point). The food itself was inventive, but not particularly well executed."

  • "I am always so impressed by the service and the excellent food at Q Haute it's a sure win. If you have a business lunch and need a quiet atmosphere with excellent service this one is a winner. It's also perfect for a romantic evening dinner with a special someone you want to impress. The staff are so professional and the kitchen are performing some kind of wizardry to prepare such an amazing combination of flavours executed so flawlessly. Love, love, love it!"

  • "The service was excellent, but the salmon cake was similar to a slightly rubbery frozen salmon burger from COSTCO. The small accompanying salad was excellent, as were the tiny dessert and bread. I wonder whether the salmon cake had been ready for some time before serving. I imagine the food is better from the tasting menu. I left feeling fairly unsatisfied, but again, the service was excellent!"

  • "A wonderful experience ! We were there for the big taste calgary dinner ! $35 3 courses dinner you've definitely get more than what you have paid ! Each dishes gave you full of surprised ! Delicated food from presentation to taste, it was a great experience ! Waiters also very attentive n superb friendly ! Another unexpected experience was we were invited to have a kitchen tour n a demotration of making n tasting a apricot dessert! It was a great fun! Amazing dessert course... 10times more than what we've expected ! I would say Must go and try yourself ! Thank you so much ! We left with a big smile ;) !"

Our food was great and the presentation on dessert was gorgeous. Would definitely recommend for corporate groups and special events!"

Food quality, diversity, presentation, all aspects are top-notched and deserve a big applause. They are very accommodating; the menu gives good value for the money. I commend them for the daring and well-executed menu. The food scene in Calgary is a conglomerate of tops and bottoms, but this restaurant stands out. I almost have no words to describe this restaurant and my experience. I give a straight 10 out of 10."

  • "I have never been disappointed going to Q Haute. I have been for a special event, for lunch, brunch, and dinner. Not only is the food excellent but it is also creative. The service is outstanding and the waiters always know exactly what is plated and describe each course to the last detail. At the same time the service is fun, there is a nice lightness between customer and staff that goes along way to building a rapport and a better dining experience. This restaurant is one at which I will continue to dine. It is a truly great all round experience."

  • "I came here with some girlfriends from work to check out 'The Big Taste". We had a lovely time. The restaurant is quaint. The staff are very knowledgable about the menu. The food was all very excellent (especially the salad). We were even treated to a flower when we left. It was a nice touch that will see all of us coming back in the future. The girl at the fron ordered us a cab and it was waiting when we walked out the front door. All in all a very nice dining experience!"

  • "Came here with hubby on a date night using a gift voucher from a friend. Dinner was 4 courses with wine on a set "mystery" menu. Experience was great. Food was creative, beautiful to look at and tasty. It came out quickly, too, which I didn't expect. (We came early, at 5:30.) The waiter was knowledgeable and courteous. We were even offered a tour of the kitchen, which was fun. Overall it was a memorable date night. I would say it was worth it just for the experience. A tip: You can get a voucher with a considerable discount from Costco.ca."

My husband dines out all over Canada, literally coast to coast, at least a minimum of 1/3 of the year and our experience was one of the best if not the best he has had. We will definately be back!   • "Dinner at this place is more of an event than a meal. I am quite the foodie and thoroughly enjoyed the very experimental items and the fusion of unexpected flavours. My husband who is more of a traditional meat and potatoes person did not feel that they enjoyed the meal. However they did enjoy the dinner experience and the service. I would not go back with him, possibly with more open minded foodie friends who are prepared to try a frozen pea soup with fennel seeds and cocoa butter infused lollipop!"

  • "I came in alone, chose the Voyage menu with a beverage pairing. I've never been more impressed with the level of competence, professionalism, and sheer knowledge that all servers working the floor possessed. Whether it was about the food, the drinks, or the history of the building -- They seemed to know it all, and expressed it with a charm that you would expect from a restaurant of such high caliber. As for the food, let me be clear: I'm not the biggest fan of scallops. I've had a few which were alright, but I've never felt the need to comment on them. The scallop dish prepared for me was the greatest combination of texture, flavour, and temperature that I've ever had the pleasure of putting into my mouth. Unforgettable."

Atmosphere is amazing, elegant, romantic with beautiful river views. Chef is very enthusiastic. Best timing on the food preparation side and transition on difference course. Special notes: to Dessert Wine Menu, many of the dessert wine could not be found at any liquor store."

  • "This is the second time I have been to Q Haute. Marcello, my waiter for the evening remembered me from last year and knew it wash my birthday. Impressive memory! I opted for the chef's seven course menu and was not disappointed. From the amuse-bouche to the sweet treats to finish of the meal, each course was an adventure in taste, texture, aroma and art. It is hard to pick a favourite course but stand out items include the 'melt in your mouth' beef cheeks, the brioche crusted oyster and the sous vide duck. Being a single diner sometimes means I am not looked after, but here I was treated like a queen. The wait staff were attentive, friendly and knowledgable about the food and made this a great dining experience."

So many highlights during our four course meal, but the main course (duck) left my mouth watering. The kitchen tour was most unexpected but very enjoyable.   • "What a wonderful experience! The last time I was at Q-Haute in 2007, I wasn't moved by it. It wasn't bad, it just didn't inspire. Q-Haute today did a wonderful job of treating a dear friend of ours to a beautiful evening of food that was inspired, unique and excellent. Our friend has some very strong dietary requirements (vegan, no-fat, gluten-free - all for medical reasons) and this restaurant was not only able to accommodate, they excelled. The nitrogen-cooked vegan dessert was visually appealing and (apparently) tasted great. The service was impeccable, with specific mention to our main server, but also the sommelier who based on a quick conversation with my wife picked a wine that was spectacular. Thank you again!"

  • "We went for the Valentine's day set menu dinner. The four courses was good, but the portions were too small -- almost sampler size. At $95 a person, the food didn't taste that well except the arctic char . The dessert was good, but it was just two bites. We probably won't go back, but some people might like the atmosphere and the types of food. The rose that was provided was a nice touch. Thanks for that."
