  • "We ordered 12 oysters and a bottle of kim Crawford, a long standing special at $50. The waiter gave us 6 oysters and a cheap bottle w/ a screw cap. We had to request the menu to show error. He gave us 6 more oysters but didn't correct the wine. We won't go back. We didn't press the issue if the wine we just figured we didn't like it much to begin with. Our rule is to only order raw seafood here because they tend to over cook everything. We only went because there were no other reservations near landmark cinema available on short notice. I sent the restaurant a message about it on twitter they ignored.it. I guess customer service and food don't matter much to them. I guess that's why it 's so easy to get a reservation."

  • "This place was awesome, when i made the reservation i told them it was our 5th year anniversary and they made everything special by giving us a nice table, the menu said happy 5th anniversay, everyone saying happy anniversary and a free dessert it was very suprising i havent been to any places that have done anything like that. On top of that the food was excellect. The best seafood i have ever eaten and the service was spectacualr."

  • "Made reservations through Open Table having never been to Oeceanaire. Put in the comments that it was my . mother's bday. They had it printed on the menus, we had a perfect table at the window. My mother uses a walker and they were more than accommodating. Service was excellent. Food extraordinary. I had the barramundi blackened. Delish! Mim had crab cakes they were yummy. Our friend had the sea bass and it was succulent. My hubby had the scallops. He said some of the best he's had. To top off the night our wonderful waiter (it was his 2nd night there) brought us all Baked Alaska!!!!! Well that just made mom's day. Everything was perfect."

  • "Our dinner started with a touch of class, when we were handed personalized menus, wishing my husband and son-in-law, happy birthday! It continued, when the chef specially prepared appetizers for us, upon learning we were first timers. It ended with our server, igniting a magnificent baked Alaska that all 6 of us shared. In between, we had a variety of excellently prepared food: shrimp cocktail, calamari, grilled oysters, soup, salads, Tuna, Halibut, Lobster Tails, Barr Amundi, Salmon, and assorted side dishes. There were no disappointments in any of the choices. The drinks were generous, the beer was ice cold, and the wine selection was quite impressive. The ambiance was warm & welcoming, and our server was exceptional. We will be back!"

  • "Oceanaire was just what the two of us needed after a long day in meetings. The snow was falling even though it was the end of March. We arrived earlier than our reservation but had a lovely table by the window and were not rushed as we cruised the abundant choices of apps, salads and entrees. All looked good so it was hard to decide. Our wine choice a bottle of sauvignon blanc from the Russian River (Hanna) was perfect! Our waiter was very patient as we were too busy talking to make decisions. We had a wonderful beet and goat cheese salad that was generous to share, lobster risotto and crab cakes. No room for dessert- just a cappuccino"

  • "My wife and I ate here with another couple and the food was excellent as always. The service not so much. Started out good then after dinner waiter never came back and I had to ask another for desert after we sat there for over a half hour. After the new waiter brought desert the original one came back, apologized for his absence and gave us our checks. We've eaten here several times and always enjoyed it. The bill for each couple was $170, I shouldn't have to look for a waiter."

  • "Our group was attending a convention and was looking for a restaurant with notable seafood. Each person from the group ordered different entrees - all thoroughly enjoyed. One of the very favorites was the shrinmp grits. We shared the bread pudding amongst four of us - it was a great way to end the meal."

We were greeted within moments of being seated by a team of waitresses one introduction then moments after she left another waitress appeared and explained if we needed anything to grab her attention. The food was cooked to perfection with a twist of what you know and may no know. Everything is a la carte. However they have a great prefix menu as well everything was full of flavor. (ordered all seafood) no salt and pepper needed :)"

  • "I live in Maryland and my husband ask me where did I want to go for my bithday. I went to opentable and found Oceanaire it was rated high. So I placed reservation and we went I enjoyed my self and I was very surprise to receive a bake Alaska for a complimentary surprise for my birthday from the Resturant I always wanted to try one but never did until that night. The service was great I don't remember the waiter name but he was excellent"

We returned for our third time to this Baltimore stalwart finding it every bit as good as our first time. Oceanaire remains one of our favorite restaurants in Baltimore and if your goal is to enjoy seafood at its' finest then drop by for a world tour of the best the world has to offer presented in a manner that makes you feel at home."

  • "The crab cakes and asparagus were excellent. The crab stuffed jumbo shrimp was delicious. We were never offered any additional sour dough bread. We each had a single glass of wine, but I had no additional water fills for the rest of our meal. Once the meal was finished, our dirty dishes sat for 10-15 minutes while we waited for the check. The GM finally noticed and pre bussed our dishes. The service was disappointing."

  • "Very nice upscale restaurant there at the inner harbor Baltimore. Make no mistake, it's pretty expensive. Parking garages close is a help, but to an outsider like me, the paying system was difficult, and I didn't know how to get into the entrance of the garage (you have to scan your ticket stub on the lock). The waiter we had was very good, and VERY well rehearsed per the menu, ingredients etc.. The inner harbor is a nice place, but I have to tell you DO NOT travel outside of that area in Baltimore. There are some pretty horrific crimes that never make the news. Even at the inner harbor you will see typical inner city homeless, drug addicts etc.. and if there isn't a cop close by, they can be aggressive."

  • "My wife and I went to Oceanaire on a Saturday night in February. We were seated promptly and were asked if we wanted something to drink. We both asked for water and stated that we wanted to look at the drink and wine list. Twenty minutes later the waiter came back for our drink orders. This was the start of what may be the longest meal we have ever eaten. The food was very well prepared but took an extremely long time to arrive. We will probably never go back."

  • "Great food, nice atmosphere. Could have done without the large party w/children nearby, but hardly a big detriment. I don't consider this a place that I would bring children. They aren't going to appreciate the menu at all, even the most enlightened child isn't a seafood lover and there isn't a 'kids menu' per se. The lobster and steak were magnificent, spinach and bacon salad was interesting and tasty, the calamari with chilli sauce is to die for and the lobster bisque is interesting and delectable. You'll enjoy it."

  • "We went to Oceanaire for my sister's 25th birthday this year. It was a Friday night and we were seated right away. Before we got there that night I explained the special surprise we had in store for my sister, a surprise guest traveling from CA to join us for dinner. The staff at Oceanaire made sure the surprise wasn't ruined and sat us at a table that could accommodate our extra guest when she arrived. The birthday dessert topped it off for a great evening."

  • "We went for restaurant week selected dishes off of the fixed menu along with an assortment of fresh oysters. Everything was delicious. I had the shrimp and grits and the calamari for an appetizer. I was persuaded to try the oysters for the first time and really enjoyed them. Looking forward to a return visit."
