"The location cannot be beat, the service was impeccable, and the food was amazing and mostly locally sourced. This is top end restaurant quality beach-side!

Steven, our server, was fantastic - he made us feel welcome and very comfortable, and he provided detailed interpretations of the wine list and menu items (down to how the Chef prepared the Okinawan Sweet Potato Puree, to achieve the lush full caramel finish).

There were a mix of couples and groups dining, but with plenty of space between tables and both inside and outside dinning options, we felt that we had our own space and experience.

We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to experience finely prepared and presented locally grown and caught produce."

"Dined at the Oasis twice during our stay at Waipouli Beach. Both experiences were great. The open and airy setting is perfect with the beach just steps away. The seared ahi and grilled ono were our personal favorits and the original mai tai is not to be missed. My wife also enjoyed some the other signature cocktails. Great coffee and delicious desserts rounded out the memorable meals. Families with kids are prevalent earlier in the evening."

"The setting is great, but they had issues wrt filling our order. got the drink order wrong, but luckily we heard that and had it fixed right away. Got our food order wrong, so 2 people had their dinners, while the 3rd had to wait another 15 minutes. I suppose such things happen, but it would have been nice if they had compensated for that by bringing an appetizer or something"

"Terrible service. After being seated we waited 20 minutes for someone to serve us water. They were out of several of the appetizers. Once we ordered our meals we waited 45 minutes. When we questioned the waitress about when our food would come she apologized using a small kitchen as the excuse. If food is going to take that long she should have apologized without waiting for us to complain. We asked for more bread while we waited but it never came. The food was very good, when it finally arrived."

"Had brunch at Oasis the last week of March. Menu has enough choices - all locally sourced and sustainably grown food. The server was mellow and friendly, however she forgot one of our dishes and I had to wait while the others ate. I tried the breakfast wrap and my wife tried the seafood wrap. Both were very good, but I'd be hard pressed to call either dish outstanding. The ambience of the restaurant is great. We sat outside, and although a little windy, we enjoyed the view and atmosphere from our table. We would likely eat there again."

"We had visited this location many times in 2010-2011 and had excellent service, food, wine and loved the staff. We wer very disappointed upon our return to find all had changed! Lack of choices on menu, quality of food poor, not many local fresh items... We hope Oasis will address these issues! You were TOP on our list of favorite places to dine while in Kauai!"

"Oasis was a great choice for our first night on the island- loved the beachside setting and received outstanding service from a fellow Pennsylvanian! The market vegetable curry was delicious, as were the Molokai sweet potatoes. Yum!"

"We showed up for our reservation only to discover the special of the evening was a mandatory donation to United Way. They were charging $70 per person for a prixe fare menu. No word as to how much was going to their charity. Sorry, but we prefer to make our own donation. They then cancelled our reservation with Open Table, even though we had shown up."

"I took my wife out for Valentines day. The restaurant had a special 3 course menu for 55$ a person. We started our meal with a salad and grilled oysters. The salad was ok but the oysters were over-salted and were not good. I ordered beef tenderloin for an entre and my wife had the fish which was Mahi. The steak was very chewy and not tender and the plate was covered in puréed beats which did not compliment the steak at all and I like beats. My wife's fish was moist and good, but the sides that accompanied it were not seasoned well and left a lot to be desired. The deserts came out and were OK but again not anything special. I have to say that our waitress was very good but for the price I was expecting a lot more."
