Great service by Leigh and fun to chat with her about special events (including a special dinner at Na Aina Kai. Could not have found a better place for a mother's day celebration. It is not a huge menu but there is something there for everyone. And, if you just cannot eat a lot (like me), then you can order a 1/2 portion at half the cost. Fresh catch every day with locally grown fruits and vegetables. Regular "Pub" food available but the special entries are the winners. Happy Hour 4 to 6 with original recipe tropical drinks and some nice wines. Service very good but got a little slower once the restaurant fills up (after 7:00 PM). This is a gem that deserves to recognized. We liked the half portion menu alto the sizes were a bit small. Henry the waiter was great and we love his "u guys" attitude! The food is farm to table and so the menu changes frequently and the chef is committed to using Kauai grown and raised products which makes the flavours so fantastic. We went 18 months ago for our last night in Kauai and we repeated the tradition this trip. Both meals were outstanding, with views of the moon and the sound of the ocean helping to make it incredibly romantic. They even make their own orgeat syrup for the Mai-Tais which were outstanding. We enjoyed the beach view and open air dining with panoramic folding doors and loved that we could close the folding doors to keep the cool evening breeze out and keep the great view. The menu is limited and there were no evening "specials", however all the food was very tasty. I would definitely go back again.3/24/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanding at the OasisWe ate at the Oasis the last night of our Kauai vacation--and it didn't disappoint. The patio was almost onto their beach so the views were spectacular; the service was superior; and the food was outstanding. Everything is cooked in a little service house directly behind the restaurant, and the chefs serve up great local ingredients in excellent dishes. My husband's Mahi was terrific, as well as my half filet. We are already missing the opportunity to go back on a regular basis, and the prices are reasonable. If they'd advertise, the restaurant would be packed every night.
