"We waited 20 minutes after our reservation time for our table. It was a bit of a cattle call. However, our waitress and food were outstanding. Hands down, Luke has the best fried oysters in the city. I had them on the caesar salad. Lots little details go into each plate, like home made pickles, jams, etc. Wonderful french press coffee.
We liked Luke so much, we went back for breakfast."

"VERY interesting menu. Delicious onion tarte appetizer followed by scrumptious shrimp and crab étouffée over penne pasta. Outrageous! Even with all the great places in NOLA go to Luke."

"It was my first John Besh restaurant that I've been to but it won't be my last. My date was my 13 y/o daughter and we thoroughly enjoyed it. From the hostess, service and food it could not have been better. I would highly recommend Luke as a must when in New Orleans. August is next on my list."

"Casual dining with quality seafood options. The oysters were out of this world. Sherry and Rice Wine Vinegar as a side to the oysters was very interesting. A must try for any GulF Oyster Lover. Not your typical horseradish sause."

"Outstanding restaurant. Our waither Greg was very helful with selections and his level of service was top shelf. We even returned for the $.50 oysters on the half shell happy hour. We would definitely dine here again..."

"Nice Brasserie away from the French Quarter. Vibrant yet relaxing. Raw Oysters were great as was the Crawfish bisque. Shrimp and Grits were very good. A great finish with the "Pots De Creme" (Chocolate, Vanilla and Meyer Lemon)"
