There wasn't enough room on the table and there was only two of us. There were empty tables so I can only assume they were disorganized."

  • "We had heard that the fried chicken they serve on Wednesday night was very good. We were not disappointed. It had a well seasoned coating, crunchy on the outside, moist on the inside. Even the breast was not too dry. The sides - collard greens, mashed potatoes, and cornbread - were good as well. It's a very heavy meal. Unless you want lots of left-overs you might consider splitting a plate with your dinning partner."

The place was packed but still we had room in our booth that made it cozy and not crowded. The service by Jeremy was amazing! He was with us start to finish and was very attentive without being overwhelming. The food was incredible. Hot, succulent and delicious. Especially the Delta Pasta! I definitely recommend Lucky 32!!!"

  • "Spinach-oyster salad - delicious - oyster were crispy and some of the best I've had. Cornmeal crusted catfish - cooked perfectly. Pulled pork - phenomenal! Favorite side has always been the grit cake. Red beans and rice were a tad salty. Mac and cheese side, yummy. Creamed spinach - a little over the top with cream. Overall, a delicious meal. Waiter was quick and attentive. We arrived at 6:30 and left at 7:15. The food came out quickly! Good service, good food, good staff."

  • "We recently came for Saturday brunch. The menu items were very appealing. I had the flash fried oysters in spinach cream sauce and bacon. Although the oysters were small, the combination was excellent. I also ordered the Cobb salad. The dressing was a bit underseasoned. My dining partner had the Banannas Foster french toast. The menu said the sauce would be on the side. Instead it came piping hot on top of the toast. As a result the toast itself became mushy. We'll go back as we always do, but some of the dishes could use tweaking."

  • "I chose the restaurant because I had been there only once before and enjoyed my catfish dinner. Always said I wanted to go again to try the shrimp and grits on the menu. I was not disappointed! My dinner was delicious. My husband had the pork chops- very tender and was glad the voodo sauce was served on the side as the waiter suggested. ( My husband was concerned it may be too hot.) It ended up a nice kick of flavor he could add on his own. Our server was very attentive and friendly.Can't wait to try other items on their menu."

  • "Overall, our experience was positive; however, based on what we had heard, I expected more from the food. The best item we had was the eggplant creole. It was a creative take on eggplant parmesan and it was cooked to perfection. The black bean cakes were also quite good; however, the shrimp and grits and buttermilk pie were mediocre at best. Our server was friendly and attentive. She was the one who recommended the Eggplant Creole, which was the biggest hit of the meal. In the future, I will ask for additional recommendations."

  • "We can always count on Lucky 32 for interesting comfort food and their current Winter menu has good examples. We liked the Grillades and Grits - with shredded pork shank vs. traditional medallions - and the bacon-wrapped meatloaf. Seasonal sides were good although we sent back two orders of creamed spinach that were spinach-flecked cream sauce, tasty but not a vegetable. They were cheerfully replaced with good collards and an excellent mustard-braised cabbage."

Knowledgible about the food menu, the bar menu, came to our table right away to let us know she would be right back (her hands were full), and just overall made us feel like we were her only table. The food was great and came out hot and in a timely manner. Great drinks and atmosphere was just right.   • "My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful dinner this past Saturday Night at Lucky 32. We hadn't been to Lucky 32 in almost two years - due to having a "simply bad experience" with a group. Anyway, we had made reservations and upon arrival were seated immediately. Our waiter was very professional and gave us the opportunity to "digest" the menu without pushing appetizers or drinks on us. We are simple folk and had the Meatloaf and the Jumbalaya. Both were quite tasty and quite filling due to the ample amount. We were more than satisfied with our experience and thought that the overall evening was 5 star."
