"Recommended by a friend for the ambiance. It was our wedding anniversary, so we wanted a special place while we were visiting the Arts Festival. Completely filled the bill. A truly lovely dining room, and intimate table (I had requested this), an attentive but not hovering server, food perfectly prepared and presented professionally. Even our brief wait in the bar was fun - friendly, knowledgeable bartender and cordial fellow patrons who were delighted with their choice of bar food. We'll go back again and again."

"We had no idea it was as big a restaurant as it was. The outdoor patio was beautiful and the live music added a great atmosphere. We enjoyed it very much."

"We reserved a cabana for my Grandmother's 95th birthday celebration. It was a very intimate setting with a beautiful overall view of the outside garden patio. The many trees are lit with lights along with the outside heaters, which made it perfect for the cooler night. We had friendly and very attentive service. Never felt rushed. The Ahi tuna and pork chop were both very delicious. Very good crowd, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Would highly recommend this place for any evening and a must for any special occasion. It is truly one of the best places to go in the valley."

"This is our favorite restaurant. We live year round here in La Quinta and always bring visitors to Lavender as dining outside is very special.
I wish they would vary the menu as it has been the same for a long time."

"We usually go to the country club for brunch on Easter. This year, I chose Lavender's. It was terrific. The atmosphere on the patio was relaxing - we could hear each other at our own table and the music was appropriate. Not too loud and totally enjoyable."
