"Chef Sandoval is amazing. Both the food and service were top notch. I would highly recommend La Sandia to anyone looking for great mexican food. I ordered the shrimp fajitas and flan. Our waiter was friendy, informative and attentive. I am definitely going to be a return customer!"

"I like this place! I have eaten there twice now and I love their guacamole and chips, it is a must have. The food is hit or miss, sometimes it is amazing and others it is not so much. They make everything in their restaurant and I like their portion sizes, I can still go clothes shopping after eating here. It is not just another Mexican restaurant, more fine dinning, not great for kids."

"Before dinner we had happy hour drinks at the bar. The house margaritas were very good, tasted like fresh lime juice instead of awful mixer. Didn't take advantage of the happy hour food since we had dinner reservations. I had the enchiladas. They were way over the top salty as were the beans. Would come back for the happy hour drinks and perhaps try some of the apps. Probably won't be back for dinner."

"The food was excellent! The meat was tender and everything was prepared to our liking. The service was great, we never had to call our waiter over for service. She was on top of her game during our entire stay. La Sandia was also very clean and I felt like we had room, no matter how many people were in there with the on going traffic of customers and waiting staff."

"Nice to have a place where you can get fancy Mexican food and feed your children from a kids menu. The noise and space make it very kid-friendly, especially for an earlier seating. Carne Asada was overrated, guacamole and salmon was good."

"We have been here a few times and really enjoy the guacamole they make at the table and the mojitos aren't bad. My husband really liked the fajitas. A bit noisy because of the tile floor, but bearable. It's nice on the patio during the summer because of the pedestrian street it sits on. I like it most for happy hour."

"The food was relatively good, however we both ordered the same pork dish and it was 1/2 fat. You could not discover that until you started because of the sauce."
