  • "Jill's is simply the best -- excellent menu and weekday lunch buffet, delicious/nutritious culinary choices, extensive wine list, great service, beautiful ambience, very reasonable prices, etc., etc., etc.!!! Among Boulder's many fine restaurants, Jill's is simply the best!!!!!!"

  • "Granted, we showed up late on a Wednesday, very quiet night, but the service was terrible. It was as if most of the staff in a busy hotel had left for the night. A shame, since the food was rather good and an unusual menu."

  • "enjoyed immensely! Ginger carrot soup, pannini, Deyo Pizza all competent and tasty and Desserts, eh? not so great"

  • "We loved the ambiance, cozy, intimate, but not secluded. It is a place where you can relax and enjoy their fantastic food. The Caesar salad made at the table was amazing. The menu selections although not many, are a broad range of quality food. This was our first time and it is now on our list of nice places to go and enjoy a good meal with high quality service. The staff was attuned to our every need without being interruptive. The wine list is quite good with selections from around the world at reasonable prices. Having a glass of wine in the lobby after our dining experience was the frosting on the cake - with live music from a very nice jazz quintet. We'll be coming back again soon."

  • "Service was outstanding, John our waiter was attentive and provided us excellent recommendations for the evening. Jill's is a cut above what most people consider hotel restaurants, it stands on its own."

  • "I've been going to the Tuscan Table lunch for years. The last two times I went, I was a bit disappointed. The food does not seem as good as it was in the past."
    Dined on 3/10/2014
  • "The service and food were excellent. The filet I had was perfectly cooked and tasty while the crab cake starter was my favorite item of the whole evening. My partner loved his lamb trio. The desserts were uninspiring compared with the rest of the meal. Can't wait to go back."

  • "The service is far and away the best I've experienced in Boulder. The staff was attentive and courteous without being overbearing. The table side presentation was amazing. Very classy atmosphere and the food quality and preparation were exquisite. There are numerous vegetarian and vegan options. I would say this is a hidden gem in Boulder's fantastic restaurant scene."

  • "Went there with another couple for Denver Restaurant Week. Started in the bar which was having a Mardis Gras special or something so it was crazy packed and hyper loud. Restaurant was a nice respite. The special menu had a great selection of choices that made everyone happy, everything was delicious and the service was outstanding."

  • "I loved the ambience, and the service. I really wish I had ordered what my friend had which was the pork. I had the trout. I am thinking of celebrating my 90th birthday with friends, here in June."

  • "They sat us on time and we enjoyed an Amuse-bouche before our meal as well. The French onion soup was delicious and the. The duet of pork was cooked perfectly. The ingredients were fresh and all complimented the dish amazing. The creme brûlée I had for dessert also came with a chocolate covered strawberry which was a nice touch to the richness of the brûlée. I will definitely be going back as the food was amazing!"

  • "The ambience was superb, the waiter was execellent, the food was top notch. We had the chicken, short ribs and lamb trio. All were wonderfully done and reasonably priced."

  • "Jill's has a lot of potential as it has a very nice atmosphere. However the food is just average…. really nothing special. And the service is primarily very young people… college kids?… who haven't received a lot of training. So overall the experience is just average and frankly a bit disappointing considering the upscale Hotel St. Julien."

  • "Like a world-class symphonic conductor, Jill's General Manager and his staff (culinary chefs, servers et al.) NEVER SKIP A BEAT!!! All perform their roles with ABSOLUTE COMMITMENT TO DELIGHT EACH AND EVERY GUEST, BOTH NEW AND REGULAR!!! Indeed, Jill's has earned our HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION among Boulder's best!!!!!!"

  • "There are better brunches in Boulder. This is a $40 buffet-style brunch and, in my opinion, too expensive for a buffet. The location is good, however, as it's in downtown Boulder steps from the Pearl Street mall. If you do go, spend some time on the comfy couches by the fireplaces in the lobby or out on the terrace."

  • "We have been here for dinner before and it was outstanding. This was our first brunch and it was also outstanding. A nice assortment of foods and excellent service."

  • "My wife and I actively search for the best of the best restaurants within and beyond the USA. Jill's is unsurpassed as reflected in our scoring above AND very reasonably priced!!!"

  • "As someone who has been to most Boulder restaurants many times, I like to think I have some perspective in my opinions (vs. a visitors say). First of all, Jill's is beautiful interior and exterior in hotel area for that matter. Elegant without being stuffy; special without being fussy and surprisingly friendly. It deserves a little dress-up respect, although seemingly impossible for Boulder locals who often look like they just emerged from a hike. In short, the food is as good as nearby haunts like The Kitchen(a favorite that never disappoints), Oak (super creative to the point I even I don't recognize the menu description), Salt (too many bad experiences) Brasserie (variable but always glad I went). What makes Jill's a gem is the value."

  • "Boulder has many fine restaurants, but none can beat or even match Jill's combination of great food, service, ambience, etc. at very reasonable prices!!!"

  • "We were there for New Year's Eve so it was a prixe fixe menu but we knew that ahead of time. The server was great and the food was phenomenol."

  • "Stayed at the hotel and ate here because it was convenient and was quite pleasantly surprised by the caliber of the meal. really good food nicely presented. Was a little apprehensive about the table side cooking but the wait staff pulled it off well. The service was a bit off on their timing but overall a very good meal."

  • "Our hostess was fun, our waiter was wonderful, and the food was magnificent... the chef did an incredibly job of satisfying our New Year's Eve celebratory goal. Thanks for a fabulous experience. We'll definitely return to Jill's the next time we're in Boulder. Thanks to the entire staff for going above & beyond in every regard. :) Happy New Year."

  • "Dined at Jill's for New Year's Eve, the food and atmosphere were wonderful. The restaurant was not to loud, we could actually hear our conversation and the food and presentation were excellent. The staff was attentive and pleasant. We enjoyed our evening and will certainly be back a Jill's"

  • "Overall, our dining experience was very good. Jill's is located in the St. Julien Hotel, which has a beautiful lobby and entry. The restaurant can be entered through the hotel lobby or its own entrance. The hostess and server were friendly and the restaurant itself is quite lovely. We were seated in a semi-private alcove with a table for two- very charming. We chose the chicken sandwich and Saint Burger which were both very good. There was an optional buffet which offered varieties of pizza. Next time, I think we will try the buffet because other diners seemed to be enjoying it."

  • "Two years ago I had been put off by the rather indifferent service a Jill's. The food had been great but the service had been slow and indifferent. Recently, I decided to give another chance and this time the food was outstanding, and the service great. I won't wait so long next time."

  • "7 of us from work went for a Christmas Lunch. I am not sure how much this lunch was but it was definitely NOT worth the money. It was set up buffet style. You only had a choice of pizza, more pizza, some sort of roast beef panini, some kind of pasta that was too hard to get out of the pan. The only thing that was edible was the pieces of steak that they had in a pan with what we believed were carrots, but there were only 3 pieces left and the cooks behind the counter acted like they didn't understand when we asked if there was more. There were signs for 4 different choices but only one out to pick from and that one was the worse carrot cake i have ever tasted - was a rock with cream cheese on the top. Will NOT be going back!!"
