"We had been to Jill's for breakfast (during the Bolder Boulder) and for Christmas lunch.
I wasn't really disappointed. I knew it would be expensive, and probably will go back for special occasions like the brunches which are are a great deal.
We sat at a table by the window which allowed us to people watch. This was a Friday evening. I had checked the menu online, and knew what I wanted from that menu. However, the menu in the restaurant was a little different. I chose the beef ribs which were so tasty, and took half of it home. I would have preferred less meat and more vegetables. The wine I saw on line by the glass, Sonoma Cutrer, was not available. Food presentation outstanding and service very nice."

"Great table-side preparation of the shrimp scampi appetizer (very rich dish) and the Caesar salad. The braised beef short ribs with polenta was excellent! The lamb 3-ways was good except for the meatball, too spicy! The dark chocolate crunch cake dessert was great with a side of ice cream. Sinskey Pinot Noir from the wine list = superb!!!"

"For 5280 Restaurant Week, this is a very good value. The food was very high quality with wonderful presentation. The trout was excellent while the lamb was very good also but the actual lamb size was too small. The chocolate cake was decadent with just the right darkness of chocolate."

"My party of three enjoyed this special outing! Anton took exceptional care of us, and we all appreciated his clear recommendations from the menu. We were surprised that the house wine was listed at $5 per glass only to see we were charged $7 each."

"The ambiance is the high point of the restaurant. The food is only OK, and some of the furniture (the ladder back chairs and the large base table with no leg room) is quite uncomfortable. If I return I would specify the upholstered chairs."
