   We visited the restaurant for our honeymoon and requested a beachside seat in advance. Although the note stated that seating requests are not guaranteed, the restaurant had our table ready by the beach. We had the poke tacos, honey macadamia nut shrimp, and Mahi Mahi as our main dish—all of which were delicious. The service was excellent as well. When it started to rain, the waiter kindly suggested moving our table under the roof and helped rearrange our orders with flexibility to accommodate our preferences.

   Food was terrific. My wife had the fish special and I had the Mac nut crusted mahi mahi with crab. Service wonderful - Sarah was our server. Ambiance very nice - we had an outdoor ocean view with soft music being played below at Duke's. Highly recommend....upscale environment in Waikiki which can be tough to find. Enjoy!

   Very disappointed with our food and drinks. The Mai tai was a very poorly prepared and skimpy. Our server was very good and accommodating and attentive. Also dissatisfied with the Crab topped crusted mahi mahi, it was very salty tasting which ruined the dish. We also had the Coconut seafood chowder which was very good though. It can be hit and miss at the Hula grill our previous time here was very satisfying.

   Wonderful experience. We stayed at the Outrigger 26 years ago with our teenage children for my husband’s 50th birthday. Then we ate at Duke’s; this time the sister Restaurant, Hula grill. The Mai Tai and Tai one on were delicious, and so was the macadamia nut shrimp and fish tacos. Couldn’t believe the Hula Pie…what a treat!

   Tom our server was very good - attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Drinks were great especially the lychee martini. Crab wontons were good especially the wonton but had more of some filling not listed on menu than crab. Enjoyed the calamari steak - a very unique preparation.

   We had the best experience! This was a 25th anniversary dinner and our server Kobe was wonderful. We know good food, and this exceeded our expectations. From the drinks and appetizers to the dinner, everything was on point. Kobe gave us great suggestions and explained the menu. The sun was starting to set when we finished dinner and had we have had room for the complementary anniversary dessert that would have been the perfect ending.
