Chef Gordon Ramsay’s first Los Angeles restaurant offers fine-dining inspired by California’s fresh produces. Under the direction of Executive Chef Anthony Keene - the Michelin-starred restaurant serves Western European cuisine with regional influences, and menus change regularly based on seasonal offerings. Enjoy a variety of market specials, several a la carte dishes. The ambiance is glamorous and energetic, with posh dining rooms that overlook dramatic views of the city skyline. Servers are knowledgeable and approachable, while an onsite Sommelier can recommend from a list of more than 500 bottles. Open daily for dinner.

  • "Very nice, awesome Beef Wellington. Very nice ambiance and staff. The caesar sald was ok, the dill rolls were awesome. It was a little dusty behind the benches, in which for what we're paying at this restaurant would expect it to be immaculate. the table also had crumbs on it when we sat down."

  • "After exceptional meals at Gordon Ramsay's Maze in London, England and at Steak in Las Vegas, were excited to try the London in West Hollywood. Had dinner there to celebrate a birthday which the restaurant was advised of when reservation was made. Service was okay, but nothing to brag about. The attentiveness of the staff was lacking. . Ordered Beef Wellington. The meat was not seared or seasoned. It was cooked rare to mostly raw in the center. The pastry around the beef lacked filling. No mushroom/chestnut pate around the beef; only a shred of ham around one piece of meat. When we asked about something for the birthday celebration, we were told that if we ordered dessert, they would do something. That's pretty rude for any restaurant."

  • "All around bad experience. Started off bad after walking into empty front desk, had to wait about 5 minutes for the hostess to walk back to the front - and mind you, the restaurant was only about 60% full. Waiter started fine but turned out to be terrible. Ordered a bottle of champagne which the waiter didn't bother to follow etiquette and allow me to taste first then over poured for both of us while spilling on my hand (gee, thanks). The appetizers were okay, nothing special. The main, Beef Wellington was delicious although cold. Waiter didn't bother to come by to pour another glass of the champagne, had to get up and walk about ten feet away to find my bottle and pour myself. Had to find a busboy to get my check as waiter MIA."

  • "The service was excellent. Server is attentive , refilled water and switch new plates. Food was excellent. Tried beef wellington yummy. $100 for 2 people very reasonable. also tried the 8 course small plates $65, the portions were literally "small" but at the end of the 8th plate very fulfilling. Especially love the scallop. The only down side I would say is, I ordered ice tea they offer hot tea with ice which is still the same, but the fact they charge $9 for a tea bag was too expensive( unless is it was some fancy brand but it looks like a typical avg tea bag) . At that price, I expect actual loose leaves at a restaunt like this."

  • "Delicious food, amazing staff, beautiful venue overall I was satisfied with it all and will definitely be back again. I an a foodie and want to try other items on the menu. I had the rissoto with baby clam and prawn AMAZING seasoning was on point and desert was Wow to die for sticky toffee pudding with marscapone ice cream. Before going I read other reviews to compare them and what many say is rude staff well I beg to differ because staff there was polite, tentative and very helpful on helping me choose my menu. I will definitely be back .... That you to all who helped make my night enjoyable at Gordon Ramsays At The London !"

  • "The food was great, the decor is stunning, the service was wonderful...overall a terrific experience. Great for special occasions or a romantic dinner. Had the scallops with fried polenta and cream corn sauce - one of the best meals I've ever had. The cocktails were delicious too!"

  • "I took my daughter here for her 18th birthday and we had a blast trying some new food that we never had like the marrow toast (not my thing but glad we tried something new). The lobster butter roll was the best appetizer! The steak and pasta (she ordered it with no clams) was the best pasta we have ever eatten! The deserts were awesome too...we actually went back the next night at 11pm because we wanted to try two more but they were closing."

  • "Not my first time to this restaurant. The service we had was top notch. The food not so much. It was good, but not great. My nephew and I had to send the steaks back because they were unseasoned and over cooked. They were very gracious about it, but my husband ate alone so his food would not get cold. Second try better. My nephew in interested in culinary arts so they were so nice to give him a wonderful tour of the kitchen. Again, service excellent. Other than that I thought the music in the dining room was a little loud, but overall we had a nice evening."

  • "This was our second time at the restaurant and the food was shockingly underwhelming. We came here during dine LA to celebrate my birthday and the experience was so much worse than last time. The only dish that comes to mind is the sticky toffee pudding which was pretty good. Everything else (and we tried everything including the Wellington on the pre fixe) was mediocre to poor. The food experience between dine la and the main dining room was poles apart. Also the restrooms for dine LA were in the hallway which also felt weird cos the main dining area does have a restaurant inside. Overall it was a poor choice for celebrating my special occasion. My first experience was great and I came back to relive it but was utterly disappointed."

  • "Ambiance not what I expected. Expected white linen table cloths, soft mood lighting and elegant furnishings. It felt more like cafeteria style. Service was adequate but not what I would have expected from a restaurant of this caliber. I was not asked how I'd like my Wellington cooked so I ended up with a steak that was too rare. Was not asked if I wanted coffee until my last two bites of dessert."

  • "Came here for a special occasion with my partner and two friends. They were overbooked(?) slightly so they seated us in a private room, which we thought was nicer than being in the main room anyhow (and gave us lots of privacy and space to take some nice photos of the food with our actual cameras without feeling weird). The service was top notch, all the courses arrived together so we could enjoy our food together and our server always seemed to arrive just in time to take our plates away and serve the next course. The food itself was amazing, and we were glad we had come in a group so that we could sample each other's choices. The DineLA price made it a very affordable special occasion and I hope we will be back."

  • "I think we went in here with higher expectations as we had dined at Steak by Gordon Ramsay in Las Vegas before. We're not from L.A., we're from Canada actually, and so we overshot our travel time and ended up coming to the restaurant about 20 minutes early. When greeted, we were told there wasn't much that could be done and that we could wait in the bar for our reservation (which was understandable). We ended up waiting longer and were not seated until my sister in-law came to ask about our reservations to which the reply was "we're having issues; wait". Food was great but not as good as was expected. In Steak, the fantastic bread was complimentary whereas you had to pay $8 here and it was taken away before we could finish it."

  • "The restaurant only served the Dine LA menu during restaurant week. Not good for vegetarians. We arrived early for our reservation and they refused to seat us a second sooner. Not very friendly staff. No one smiles, they are all way too serious. Not very approachable or accommodating. As gorgeous as this restarant is designed, the staff doesn't make you feel welcome. The presentations of all the dishes were artwork! Colors and details with every dish. The risotto lacked salt but everything was really amazing. The sticky toffee pudding wasn't as good as the one Gordon had at The Fat Cow. I wish he would bring that dessert over here since that restaurant closed down. I would definitely return and highly refer this place to anyone."

  • "They had a great menu for DineLA, we knew the caliber of food here, so we had to go. The charred octopus was tender and succulent, the asparagus risotto with pork belly was to die for. Large portions, melt in your mouth pork belly, this was a meal in itself. Then the entrees - filet steak with potato and seafood /shellfish soup both skillfully prepared and artfully presented. The sticky toffee always a pleasure to eat, it's the only dessert we get when coming here. We wanted to come back, but they were booked solid. With this level of food and service, no wonder why."

  • "Very disappointing experience but, as the server explained, fine dining couldn't make a go of it, so, they've moved to a more casual "thing." Unfortunately, they didn't move the décor to California casual - it's at The Hotel London; the owners should have taken a look at some current "casual" restaurants in London and tried a bit harder as a total package, particularly, with Gordon Ramsay's name still prominently displayed. (If I had been him, I would have taken my name off the door when I left. Having been to others (London - Chelsea) of his restaurants, I know his standards are extremely high - this one misses the mark. I would not recommend this one; there are so many great places to eat well in LA - this is not one of them."

  • "Since we are lucky enough to have our anniversary fall within Dine LA week, we decided to finally try out Gordon Ramsay's WeHo establishment at The London. As I am a huge fan of Gordon's, I have wanted to try one of his restaurants for quite sometime and this did not disappoint! The food was excellent and the service impeccable. They even put together a special off-menu dessert selection for us because we are gluten-free. The service and food both lived up to the standards I would expect from watching Gordon Ramsay on his many television shows. Our only complaint would be the table of loud, obnoxious, riff-raff girls seated next to us whom were noticeably disturbing the entire restaurant without care. They almost ruined our evening."

It's everything one would imagine from a Gordon Ramsay dining experience and then some. The servers were very friendly and personable. The price point was en pointe to any high end tasting menu.   • "The place is beautiful, although it sneaks up on you in it's location. The dinning room is very modern European. Everyone is very helpful. Only downside is if you don't like rare meats, don't go. I wanted to make my filet medium well-well done...I was told I couldn't. The risotto was a little too creamy and mushy for my taste. Everything else was exquisite. I wouldn't go back just because I don't like rare meats."

  • "Went for DineLA tasting menu because it included Beef Wellington. My wife didn't desire any of the appetizer choices so she ordered a cesar salad. The dressing on her salad was bland and didn't taste like any cesar either of us had ever had. I had the grilled octopus (one of my favorite appetizers). It had good flavor, but was overcooked. However, the Beef Wellington was excellent and the deserts were good. The waiter said 2 out of 3 isn't bad, but for a restaurant with this reputation, it should always be 3 out of 3. This restaurant didn't make it in my opinion."

  • "I came here with my boyfriend for our 3 year anniversary. We had our reservation late at 9 pm and we got seated right away! It is a very dim-lit, relaxing, and romantic vibe which was perfect for our occasion. The food was amazing. Of course, I wouldn't expect anything less from a Gordon Ramsay restaurant. Our server wasn't the best server though. He left us sitting there while he attended his other tables. We sat there for about 10-15 minutes just waiting to take our order. Anyway, it didn't bother me much because the food definitely made up for it! It was deeeelicious!"

  • "Serviced was a joke, I literally have have better service at Denny's. It seemed that of the multitude of people who came to our table, none was working at the same restaurant. The had to ask before serving our drinks and each of four cources "who had the ...?". Really? At $125 a person you could not remember which of the four of us had the fish? Did you ever consider writing it down? I have dined at Ramsey's places in other cities and always had a wonderful time. Pass on this one, not worth the agravation. The valet parking was probably the most enjoyable part of the night."

  • "Very knowledgeable and professional staff. The menu was clean and organized, with great choices, though not very vegetarian or vegan friendly. We had the DineLA menu, which had fantastic deals for the prices, definitely worth it. Food was delicious, and came very quickly, with minimal to no wait time in between courses. Presentation of dishes was beauitful and elegant, vibrant and colorful, and food was very fresh, flavorful and seasoned well with very nice texture and moisture as needed. When we went the restaurant had just opened so it was pretty empty and quiet, but Id still say it was well worth it. Quite romantic, and a beautiful view of LA outside. Definitely would recommend checking it out!"

  • "ideal spot to go to a nice dinner. Perfect for double dates or just a romantic dinner with a loved one. The private dinning rooms looked so great for a special dinner party or small dinner event. The only thing was it was a little warm, but i asked them to turn on the AC and they did. You have to go upstairs to the rooftop pool and look at the view. I am from LA and i it was my first time seeing the pool and the view. it was spectacular. i recommend this restaurant and this hotel for sure. Perfect for a stay-cation as well."

  • "Okay... I'm willing to drop a few dimes if I know I'll get my money's worth. I am a foodie from NY and I have to say this place has come through with the best meals, ambiance and service I've had anywhere. I am not a fan of small, fancy, pretentious dishes... This is the opposite. Unique, incredibly flavorful, fresh, inventive and just insanely delicious from the appetizers to dessert to the fine cup of coffee served with hot frothy milk... Flawless. I did Dine LA this last visit, had the pork belly and the squid appetizers.... Both elegant and delicious. For dinner I had grilled cod in jasmine rice and coconut milk and my girlfriend had petite filet. All I can say is perfection. For dessert we had the sticky toffee pudding, divine! GO."

  • "Went for LA DINES promotional dinner. Although the menu was limited to three choices for each of the three courses, what you get for the price was excellent. Despite some negative comments by others on YELP, I found the staff (Alex, in particular) exceptionally friendly and attentive. The room is just OK but we didn't go for the decor. The Beef Wellington was done to perfection. Will return without hesitation."
