FlameStone American Grill is a casually sophisticated American Grill that places an emphasis on cooking with nature’s most basic elements: Fire & Stone. Our passion is to serve highly flavored food with the highest quality service possible. We use natural cooking techniques such as grilling over an open fire or preparing our guacamole using lava stone, to give our food exceptional flavor and taste.

Starters such as Tableside Guacamole or Stone Oven Flat Breads make your first choice a tough one. FlameStone’s Tableside Guacamole is an experience that is unlike any guacamole you have ever tasted. Made tableside using a traditional Molcajete, we only use Haas Avocados and the freshest ingredients possible. It is truly amazing.

If a great steak is your weakness, you’ll love our steaks. At FlameStone we grill our steaks over an open flame and only use Stock Yards Chicago Angus Beef that is 28 day aged and that are hand cut on premises.

Love the petite filet. Cappuccino is excellent and comes with my favorite- sugar sticks :) s'mores are fun for your inner pyro and bathrooms are clean. Specialty cocktails are excellent and standard mixed drinks are usually good- but better pours if you're ordering those at the babr."

It definitely does get a little busy so definitely make a reservation, especially on the weekends, or you'll have to wait a while. We've never had a bad experience and will continue to visit Flamestone often. I forgot to mention their Fried Oreos also...fried oreos??? Amazing."

We had a tremendous, insightful, and engaging waiter who steered us towards the best wines and food selections for the evening. The guacamole prepared at our table was incredible and the server/prepper was funny and entertaining. We will definitely recommend this restaurant to all of our friends. This is now on the top of our list for return visits."

  • "My husband and I took our son to Flamestone for his 18th birthday. We had a party of 7. The hostesses were great, very friendly and the gentleman that made our guacamole was very nice but our waitress was not very good at all Unfortunately I do not remember her name but she did not check on us very often, our glasses were empty for a good amount of time and she forgot a glass of wine that was ordered all together. Also, she didn't wait to see if our steaks were cooked right, which one was not. We had to go find her to have her take it back to the kitchen to cook more and it still was not done enough. By then everyone else was done eating so we didn't bother. With the exception of that everything else was great."

The Fried Raavoli filling was very grainy in texture, like they used Kraft green Jar dried Parmesan or Romano to make it. Chicken and waffles was a hit with everyone trying it. Pork Chop was OK but not spectacular. Because the food did not WOW I would say it is a bit overpriced. The Guac - ROCKED (It always does)"

My other friends ordered the salmon, chicken and waffles and they said it was good. We ordered 2 desserts. The marshmallow s'mores and it was a lot of fun and delicious. We felt like camping. We also ordered the fried Oreos and they were not good, but we didn't pay for them. Overall not a bad place."

  • "My girlfriend and I enjoy the Bar and liked the experience so we decided to try the dining side and although it is pleasing to the eye the food was a let down, She had the prime rib ($23) and I had the large filet ($28) and at that price point I expected a meal with better taste, ordered Med and Med Rare it came out a bit over cooked but was not tough just lacking on taste (very bland) The Manager brought out the meal and new from looking at the cut that it was not cooked as ordered and did comp us the wine but that said the house wine is not that great of a choice and there wine list by the glass is pretty high ($9 to $14) range with a small pour. So over all we like FlameStone but it was not worth the drive from Dunedin."
