  • "I always make it a point to have dinner here. Whether on business or with family, Duo had a great atmosphere and is one of the few high end restaurants in Wailea that are Kama'aina friendly."

  • "We went here on our last night in Maui. What a wonderful way to end a great vacation. Service was attentive and food was excellent. Great for a special night out."

  • "My 1st time to DUO & very impressed. The service was excellent! Eddie was our server. He was most gracious, very knowledgable about the menu & made us feel very welcome! My filet was very flavorful. I enjoyed every bite! Thank you for a very nice dining experience."

  • "We wanted our step moms birthday dinner to be a relaxing, , memorable, and delicious one. So we chose to take her to Duo's for a wonderful evening. The food was really good, and our server Brad was great! She enjoyed her dinner and that's what matters. "

  • "The Four Seasons is lovely - the food is okay. Unremarkable really in every way. Both my husband and I ate our entrees and salads, but agreed it was okay - mediocre. Service was fine. "

  • "Kids and parents were having a great time. For a more relaxing dinner we should have booked a later time. The service wae terrific."

  • "Way over priced for average food at best. Would not go again."

  • "It's at the four seasons and we liked spago better. The best part as the chocolate dessert prices were high for quality of food"
    Dined on 4/13/2014
  • "This food was very delicious, we did mot have a bite that we didn't enjoy! Our issue is quantity, the size of the steaks were unusually small for the price of the entree. We've never encountered a New Youk Strip so small. When an entree is $40 - $50 and the only thing on the plate is a piece of meat, all sides are extra, then it should have substance. We've ordered many steaks in our dining out experiences and this was a dissapointment."

  • "I was hoping this would be up to Four Seasons standards. Upon check in we were told that we had to wait to be seated, as far as I could see they did not have enough people to seat guests. It was not a case of there were not enough tables as there were plenty.Once we were seated my husband asked the hostess for the wine list and we were told the server will bring it. Not helpful! once we seated and ready for a drink, our server did not ask us if we would like a drink but instead went to tell us about the specials. My husband was not a happy person at this point and I was getting annoyed also.Lastly, we were sharing most of our meal. No extra serving utensils were bought and the steak was nothing to write home to Mom about."

  • "Duo was comfortable and exciting. The steak tartare was the best I've had in ages, and they were kind enough to make grand marnier soufflé , even though it was no longer on the desert menu. The farm to table salad was amazingly presented , and tasted wonderful. Best dinner in Maui"

  • "We expected more from the Four Seasons experience. It was a beautiful setting; however, we were seated as far away from the views as possible. We were surrounded by 2 families with young kids and tucked into a corner. Our server was slow to keep things going. Everything took forever! Food was very good but way over priced. Disappointed."

  • "We are at Duo recently. Service was top notch all around. We simply were disappointed in the quality of the food. Our appetizers (chopped salad and Maui onion soup) were adequate but nothing special. Probably most disappointing of all was the beef just wasn't particular good. I have many better steaks at Morton's, Ruth Chris, etc.. My steak came with a mushroom sauce that was too greasy for my taste. The filet my wife ordered also didn't impress."

  • "Just too expensive for the quality and quantity of food provided. Go eat at Longhis instead.."

  • "Duo has amazing and unpretentious service. An incredible view and setting. And I have never had a bad meal. The cocktails are terrific as well. A fun wine list too. We usually go once on our yearly holiday, but this time we went three times due to their new addition of a family menu."

  • "Just ate at this restraurant. The food and service was awesome. I felt it totally met the high standard that The Four Seasons demands. We had the tomahawk steak. It was made to perfection and was totally delicious. I would definitely return to this restraurant."

  • "Amazing brunch! The buffet had lots to offer as did the ala cart menu. With brunch coffee and juice is included. They have everything you can think of, and then some! The new addition of the juice bar is great as well! You can have a coffee or smoothie. Both are made infront of you. Be mindful of the 10 charge as it's not included in the buffet price. We actually got a Green beverage one day without eating the brunch and it help us over. As for Dinner, it's nice but not over the top, and lacks luster a bit. I'd stick with brunch if you are only going to go here for one of the two meals."

  • "This was not our first time here, however the service, specifically the food being brought out took a long time, which wasn't only at our table. Not sure what was happening in the kitchen."
    Dined on 3/12/2014
  • "What we ordered food-wise was only fair. The service and surroundings were very nice. We might go again but order steak."

  • "We loved Duo for it's breakfast buffet and breakfast in general. Excellent service, food made to order, delicious. For dinner, we had the opinion that it wasn't the best "steak place" - nothing wrong with the food, but moderate portions and service was "casual" to put it charitably. Since we were relaxed and on vacation, it didn't bother us too much, but had we been entertaining friends, we would have been wishful of more attentive service. I am not one to complain about pricing if service/food are also high, Duo for now falls into the "wished for a little better" category. Note, we did not try the RAW bar, steaks only."

  • "We stayed on Maui 10 days and Duo at The Four Seasons Resort was one of the best dining experiences. The menu offered seafood as well as meat options. Appetizers were excellent. Main course dishes were not overdone and emphasized the fresh produce."

  • "DUO is a restaurant that deserves its reputation and space at The Wailea Four Seasons. Menu is varied; food delicious and prepared with care. Service is exceptional. Portions are small and prices expensive as one might expect, but the value is decent for the area and hotel. Those staying on the property should certainly take advantage of DUO, but you might find it a bit noisy (lots of kids when we were there) and pricey. Try the early menu; it contains many of their specialty dishes at far more reasonable prices. And you can't beat the scenery!"

  • "Slow service Weak salad However excellent steak(NY strip)--probably best I've ever had"
    Dined on 2/20/2014
  • "Our strip steak was barely 1/2" thick and was burned to a crisp on the outside and well done on the inside. A second attempt produced no better. We had ordered, medium rare, charred... This steakhouse needs to eat at a real steak house to see how competition cooks steaks. The steak we were served as on par with what you might expect at TGIF or IHOP but was priced $$$$. Not at all what we were expecting from The Four Seasons."

  • "We really enjoyed the steaks and the Storybrook Zinfandel wine. Our sides of the Kula corn and mushrooms were great as well. We were disappointed we could not sit outside, due to the inclement weather. The inside tables do not do the restaurant justice."

  • "Have been to this restaurant several times and the service and food are always excellent. It take a lot of work to maintain such high standards and DUO does it flawlessly."

  • "We have visited the four seasons restaurants often and then never fail to deliver top quality food and expert service! We ate twice at Duo during our stay in Waliea and enjoyed our "last evening" at this lovely spot!"

  • "Our dinner experience at DUO was, from start to finish, outstanding! The service was exquisite without being pretentious or overbearing. Great wine list, the food was fantastic- we shared the Tomahawk steak - cooked perfectly - with undoubtably the best bearnaise sauce ever made -and I've had a LOT of bearnaise sauce :) a mini ice cream sandwiches for dessert? What an awesome idea! We had one minor problem with our dessert wine order - got the wrong drink - but the bartender herself came out with the right drink, apologized, did not blame anyone, just made it right. Now that is 5 star service."

  • "unfortunate to have two nights in a row where the rain invaded our dinner. But unlike the previous experience, the wait staff was all over it and had us moved in seconds. they were prepared for the weather and it showed. as for the food - scallops to die for; lobster bisque was the best ever; hand cut fries done perfectly as requested (extra crispy); all told the food was delicious. And service was outstanding. we will go back."

  • "My ribeye was cooked perfectly with incredible flavor and was one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. My wife's fish was also delicious with great flavor and was cooked perfectly and remained moist. The wine list is on an iPad and had a lot of good choices to go with our meal. Maria our waiter was very attentive and provided excellent service."

  • "Although the setting is nice--it was very quiet on the Friday night we went. The service was good (though the waiter was very friendly-sometimes wouldn't leave the table), the food was just okay. Plus, the menu had few options. For the price, I would go just about anywhere else."
    Dined on 1/3/2014
  • "Cold seafood buffet was less than par. Overpriced for the quality of food and service was average at best."
    Dined on 12/24/2013
  • "Our table felt like we were out of sight out of mind. The service was poor and when our food was brought out, usually at nicer places the ladies are served first, but I was actually the last to be served. Our plates sat there for quite some time before they were ever cleared. Can't say I would recommend this place to anyone, it was also over priced for what you got."
    Dined on 12/23/2013
  • "Food was excellent. Service was amazing, nothing short of what one would expect from a very seasoned Four Seasons crew. The pampered us all night. The dessert was crazy good and they even gave us the recipe."
    Dined on 12/21/2013
  • "DUO is a nice place. They have a nice menu, a nice setting, and the food quality is good. The only drawback is that I swear the wait staff comes from Denny's. Their knowledge is limited, and they easily screw things up. It's frustrating to have a high ticket dinner from such amateurs. Perhaps it's difficult to find good waiters in the area, but they really need to improve their training, regardless."
    Dined on 12/16/2013
  • "We had an excellent meal. The homemade strawberry ice cream is the best strawberry ice cream I have EVER had. All other strawberry ice cream is going to be a disappointment. The waiter was exceptionally pleasant and helpful. A thumbs up."
    Dined on 12/8/2013
  • "After being seated it took around 10-12 minutes for a server to acknowledge us. Not what you would expect for a place with $50 steaks (a la carte menu as well). Server was nice and informative, recommending certain dishes. Food was ok...I would think it would be amazing for the price point. The drink of the day was not worth the $15 price. It was in a little martini glass and gone in two sips. Overall, I would not go back. There are places around Wailea with better food for your money."

  • "We ordered two plates that were excellent and would give A pluses and two entrees that were terrible and would give Ds or Fs The Scallops and crabcakes were delicious, in fact perhaps the best scallops I have ever had. The crapcakes were very tasty as well. However, we ordered the duo salad, and it was terrible, inedible in fact. The Pork belly buns were equally terrible, tasteless and pure fat... only fat... nothing but fat... absolutetly awful. But what made this experience the worst was that the service was awful, not what I would expect at a four seasons. We asked for the bill directly from the waiter and it took him 15 minutes to bring the check, and there were only 3 other tables in his section. Unacceptable."
