d.k Steak House is a local Hawaiian Regional steak house specializing in Dry-aged steaks. We are O‘ahu’s first Dry-Aging Room where we dry age on premise ---which imparts a sweeter, fuller, and more robust flavor as well as tenderizing the meat. We use only USDA high-grade beef- Vintage Natural which has NO hormones, NO antibiotics, NO steroids, the beef is all natural. Our double broiler grilling process ensures high-temperature cooking that seals in juices and enhances the natural flavor of the beef. We offer classic sides dishes, and at d.k Steak House we also offer a beautiful sunset view overlooking Waikiki beach.Continued

  • "I almost hate to rave about this place because then it'll be harder to get reservations in the future (we'll definitely go back). The staff is friendly and accommodating, and our waiter was the best. He had a low key humor, was thoughtful and very helpful. He even remembered how I had an irish coffee two weeks before. And then there's the food. OMG, the steaks (dry or wet aged) were as good as or better than anyplace in town! Everyone in our party raved about it. Some said it was the best they'd ever had. I had fish the second time around and it was also perfect. Great dessert collection, ample wine list, and even a kids menu! Driving in the narrow parking structure was a challenge though. Better to come with your Toyota, not your Hummer."

  • "Ordered the 22 ounce 30 day aged rib eye and my wife ordered the shrimp scampi. We had escargot as an appetizer and a side of the lobster/shrimp mash. The food was delicious. The steak was thick and tasty it came with a reduced type of sauce on the side that was great. My wife's shrimp scampi was also very tasty. The side of lobster/shrimp mashed potatoes was delicious, its very rich but very good. The escargot was also really good, it's the kind that comes with the cheese (parmesan I think) melted on top. Recommend the steak and the food. Delicious. Oh, and the beers were ice cold :)"

  • "My wife and I learned of DK Steakhouse through Trip Advisor. The reviews were spot on. From the moment we stepped through the doors until we literally waddled out of the door, we were fawned over constantly. Our server, Tarynn, explained various menu items and answered our questions expertly. Although our seating location was about half way through the seating area, both my wife and I had some difficultly reading the menu due to the lack of lighting. My wife had the wedge salad and I had the Maui onion soup for appetizer. Both were delicious. We both had filet as an entree. My literally melted in my mouth. My wife stated that the steak was one of the best she has ever had. As we are not drinkers, we did not sample the bar service."

  • "This place was highly recommended to me so when I had a friend visiting the island, I thought excellent view and steaks sounded like a great idea. The service was excellent. We had appetizers, salads, and steaks. The steaks were way over cooked. I didn't find anything remarkable about any of the food but we had a great time. I can only assume that the ridiculous prices pay for the view."

  • "Best Steak Ive eaten in a long time! Very juicy. I had the filet with the crab cakes...filet wasawesome, crab cakes were..alright. I can tell the difference between canned crab meat and fresh meat. The texture was on point. My husband said his aged filet was so delicious...he is an executive chef, and a big time foodie..so that meant a lot coming from him. The scallops were also really really yummy!! Service was so great. My hostesses were always smiling. And my server, Josh, was really great! He checked on us as many times necessary. Also, he was a genuine nice...not fake nice. theres and obvious difference. Just a great team at DK. Only downside was the ambience wasnt that great. It was just a boring type of layout in the restaurant."

  • "understandably the selections offered for fine dining New Years is limited , however this place is supposed to be a fine steak house . very disappointing service . Our server was overstating the menu and only worried about the amount of tip he would receive .We were so looking forward to our New Year evening Dining and both of us were dissapointed in the quality of food and service . We ordered a very expensive bottle of champagne and upon opening the waiter pulled the cork and placed it in his pocket trying to hide the fact the cork was dry and wine was flat . When I brought this too his attention he was very defensive , Thus with all my efforts made for an unforgettable New Years Evening ended up in a dining let down."

There is a wonderful array of creative side dishes, which are quite large and meant to be shared. The wine selection is outstanding and well edited. Can't decide? Have a wine flight! They have several to choose from."

  • "Gee, I planned to eat at the bar because I was alone and prefer bar to table when I'm dining solo. Nope. Bar is reserved for "overflow" diners from Sansei. When asked if I could just have a drink at the bar, the answer was a firm "no." I had some items that were terrific, a scallop dish that was not supposed to be served raw, but when I cut into it found that it was a little more opaque than raw (this was in a Rockefeller dish!)I felt pressured to order a steak, was specifically asked if I was going to. 2 drinks were great and needed to cope with the lack of aloha here."

  • "The 30 day aged steak was probably my favorite thing I've ever eaten! I was talking about it for days. The au gratin potatoes were also excellent, as was the other steak entree we ordered. I was very impressed with the food. Our server was extremely friendly- he made recommendations and polite conversation, and allowed us to take our time deciding on our meals. We felt attended to, but not rushed. Towards the end of the meal, however, we waited a long time for our check. I imagine the view of the ocean is wonderful in the daylight. Otherwise, the restaurant is fairly small and feels less intimate because of the large bar area, open floor plan, bathrooms outside the restaurant, and shared entry with another restaurant."

  • "Actually, the dining experience was nice mainly because of our really good server, Josh. But when we came to the hostess with a confirmed reservation, we were asked to wait even though there were lots of empty tables. After 15 or so minutes my husband went back to the desk and we were seated immediately (at one of those tables that had sat vacant while we were at the bar). I know why some restaurants do this, but it's not a good PR policy. We won't be going back - too many other good restaurants nearby."

  • "My daughter chooses d.k for her birthday dinner every year, and it's always delicious and satisfying. the food is full of flavor, and the portions are more than sufficient for any normal human. The servers are always polite and knowledgeable, and very attentive. Five stars all the way across."

  • "I ordered the lychee sangria which I loved! Tasted so good, sady I ordered the paniolo steak and I hated it. I barely even touched it, and just ate my dates dinner. Worst part is having to pay for a $45 steak that I didn't like. Then asked to get a box because I was planning on giving it to my dog, I had couple pieces cut on my plated and ask for the whole plate to be boxed..they threw away the pieces which could of gone to my dog! They should of asked! The waiter was nice, just felt bad to ask for another steak... Everything else was good. Like the house bread and butter, my soup was good and so was my dates salad. Then the main course was the worst. My date got the 30 day dry aged steak and that was delicious!"

  • "If you want a really good steak, got to eat the bone in rib eye dry aged 30 days. It is always good. This is our place to celebrate a special occasions -- first date, birthdays. Good wine list, with new selections every time. Wait staff is very efficient even when the restaurant was pretty busy. Enjoyed another special occasion."
