Despite this, the noise level was acceptable and the food and service excellent. We were very impressed how they handled a full restaurant with many long tables seating at least 12. The service was warm, efficient, professional and the food came exactly as we ordered it, including the meal for one of our party who ordered off the menu. A large group of us came here for a team lunch. And I was impressed by the food, the service, everything. Its the ideal resturant that all other restuarants should strive to be. Classic in every way!!!! Well it's been over 12 years since I have been back. And I was there with my Mom after an afternoon at the theater this past Saturday. And it was just like I remembered. Fabulous!!!! Hope to be back sooner than 12 years. Unfortunately I don't work or live near the downtown area anymore. Would love to see your restaurant expand into the woodlands area. Since this is the area I live in now. I am sure it would do very well. And I would be able to visit more frequently.

Damian's is the classic Italian restaurant, par excellence. We came for dinner on my birthday after having had a very disappointing lunch experience at a certain steakhouse in Highland Village whose name shall go unmentioned. So our faith in good service and even good food was severely diminished by dinner time. Well, Damian's restored our faith, and then some.
I'm not sure why it took me so long to come to this restaurant. I think it was because I had heard it was very expensive. Well, that is not the case. Yes, you will pay for premium cuts of meat and choice fish, as you should. There are so many amazing dishes to choose from. We went with two of the fish dishes. Excellent preparations, one came with shrimp and the other with crab. The portions of fish and shrimp/crab were very generous. A moderate-sized wine list provided many reasonably priced wines. The waiter recommended a truly perfect wine for our meals. Most notably, the food and service was outstanding. Everyone in my party of three additional people were impressed with the food and service. An additional important feature offered by the restaurant free of charge was a shuttle service to downtown events. An important convenience since we did not have to rush through dinner to get to our vehicle to fight downtown traffic and the difficulty of finding a place to to park at an additional expense.
