Diner Reviews
  • "Made our annual trip to Cote d'Azur recently and we felt that the restaurant wasn't as good as in prior years. For starters, our waiter deliver the wrong bottle of white wine which we caught and corrected. Next the wrong bottle of red was served which we didn't catch until the check arrived. Restaurant was gracious and corrected the bill on that one. One diner's rack of lamb was just mediocre and the pheasant was a bit overdone. Escargot appetizers were done in a non-traditional style and just so-so. The other meals were excellent as usual. Hopefully it was just an off night and things will be better when we return next year!"

  • "This restaurant has a limited menu but the food is outstanding. The service is perfect. The price of the menu is expensive, since it is al a carte. I thought the desert (Profiterole) was great but not worth the price, you only get one. I would skip the dessert in the future."

  • "Nice spot. Small dining area, but the food was good. Chef cared enough to send the waiter back out when my wife did not finish all her salad. Wanted to know if it was satisfactory. Was impressed!"

  • "Last time there, it was a great experience. This time it was not worth the price."

  • "We have been enjoying Cote d'Azur for years. We choose this lovely hidden gem whenever we have company in town who appreciate a fine dining experience. The food is delicious, the best in town, and the owners are so friendly and accommodating. They always make us feel extremely welcome."

  • "This meal was a special dinner for my wife and I on a recent Sunday night dinner out. No "special" event however a more "upscale" meal than our normal Sunday night meals out of house. We had heard great reviews from Collegues and Friends about the service & food quality at the Cote D'Azur. Having dined at other fine French restaurants in Naples /SW Florida we were skeptical. Simply put, this was one of the 10 most memorable experiences / meals we have had in the past 3 decades. Having visited Paris 23 times we can say "We felt as though We were in France during our 2 hour meal". The wine, a Fougas Maldoror Bordeaux was great and inexpensive, the Octopus & Duck Terrine appetizers were A+ as were the Loup De Mer & Duck entrees A+ too."

  • "The food was outstanding, as it always is at Cote d'Azur. It's the best restaurant in Naples."

  • "Finally, a French restaurant that looks and feels like a true restaurant in France. A diverse menu with additional specials. Good wine list and good matches available for the dishes. The pace of the evening was reminicant of our years of dining out in Europe. We will return for special events and with special people."

  • "The best in Naples....Each visit is a grand evening with outstanding caring service, bus staff on top of beautifully prepared and presented plates."

  • "We try to dine here at least once every week to once every two weeks! This is our No.#1 French Restaurant in Naples, FL. The yellowtail fish dish is so good & The Lobster dish is awesome. We do order a side dish of mashed potatoes and green beans and share those!"

  • "The yellowtail snapper at Cote D'Azur is a triumph. I recommend it to one and all. It's a totally delicious, colorful, interesting preparation and healthy choice. The veal filet mignons are another healthy and delicious choice. Just to mention a couple of the menu items in this superlative restaurant. After such a noble entrée selection....a dessert from their excellent offerings is justified and worth it. Enjoy !"

  • "Excellent food, prompt service, helpful staff. Honored reservation promptly even though had others, without reservations, waiting. Very pleasant atmosphere. A little pricy but well worth it - good value and a fun experience. We will be back."

  • "Despite a minor mishap (our waiter, initially a bit 'snooty' spilled my husband's glass of red wine after which he was more contrite and personable), our experience was great. The food was fabulous. My daughter and I had a grouper special poached in a tangy tomato-based sauce with capers, cherries, garlic, etc. I ordered an extra side of sautéed artichokes. bacon, garlic, onions--it was superb and ample for sharing. My other daughter got a spicy shrimp dish which she "inhaled" and my husband got another fish entree which he greatly enjoyed. Unfortunately, they did not have the dorade prepared at table side the night we were there. Based on this initial experience, I'm certain we will return when we vacation in Bonita Springs next year."

  • "Perhaps the best duck ever. I always love their seared foie gras and two of us were in awe of the duck while the others had a snapper special that impressed. Not inexpensive but worth every penny. The ambiance is special too. We have never been disappointed here."

  • "we are seasonal visitors to Naples and always go Cote de Azur. Food is exceptional and wine list is a B-. You will not be disappointed. Escargot and duck are great"

  • "We have dined at Cote D'Azur for a couple of years now. The food is unique and always delicious from the fresh fish to the lamb chops. The calamari appetizer always get raves reviews as the "best ever" The desserts are wonderfully delicious. As New Yorkers we have high food standards and Cote D'Azur is one of our Naples favorites."

  • "You can say what you want about all the downtown restaurants, but if you want great French ambiance, fabulous French Cuisine (try their new Filet) and an evening that will make you think you are in a small town outside Paris, go here. If you want to impress your best gal with a real find, this is it. I had one of the best dinners since I have been in Naples, and they seldom fail to impress with their true French roots. Bleu Provence is great too, but this is much less pretentious and more authentic."

  • "A true gem, offering the real flavour of the French Cote D' Azur"

  • "Cote D'Azur had been on our list of restaurants to try as we are seasonal residents in Naples. The endive salad was wonderful. I ordered the center cut pork chop, ok but nothing special. My husband order yellowtail snapper which was glazed and drenched in sauce. A very nice piece of fish but the flavor was lost because of the heavy sauce. Service was outstanding. With so many excellent restaurants in Naples serving fabulous food, we can't recommend this one."

  • "Looking for excellent and innovative food in Southwest Florida? Need to get away from chain restaurants? This is the place! The food is consistently superb and highly innovative. Whether your choice of entree is from the land, the sea, or the air, you will marvel at the complexity of flavors that the chef will have combined in order to give you a memorable meal. Once bitten, you will return again and again to expand your selections to other menu items."

  • "COTE D'aZUR never disappoints. The food is always wonderful. Very French. Favorites always remain on the menu like thei mussel appetizer and lamb shanks. Sauces are out of this world. Our favorite in Naples"

  • "Excellent food and wine, fantastic service, very nice, romantic and perfect for a special occasion. Small so make reservations well in advance, but it is worth looking too. Expensive but worth it for the outstanding quality of the food and the presentation. Everything is beautiful and delicious."

  • "This restaurant has been one of our favorites in Naples for years. Unfortunately, after our quite average meal last Tuesday, we are reevaluating the pedestal that we previously placed them on. Let's hope that our experience was an aboration and that the accolades that they deserveady received last year have not turned them complacent."

  • "Top notch all the way. Beet salad was outstanding. I am not normally a fan of pepper steak, but at Cote D' Azur it was incredible. The lobster was comparably priced with other entrees so I 'splurged' . It was fabulous!"
    Dined on 3/4/2014
  • "We made reservations at Cote D'Azur based on friend's recommendation. We ordered yellow snapper and lobster, along with the beet salad and profiteroles dessert. Both of us thought it was one of, if not the best, dining experiences we have had in Naples, which is quite a statement with the many fine restaurants in town. I thought the lighting could have been a little more subtle, but that is my only slightly negative comment. We received excellent service and the food was divine!"

  • "The food was very good but the portions are unaccompanied and small, unless you get 14 oz pork. The price is too high in comparison to similar style and type of cuisine."

  • "Rarely do you have a dining experience that works on all the important aspects. Service- from the greeting at the door, to the service at the table perfect. Professional, efficient but very personable. Wine- A delicious Sancere! Decor and Music- very tasteful, quite comfortable and sweetly French. The olive oil and fleur de sel salt was a real nice touch of regional authenticity. Then there is the food. Every single dish was perfectly executed and a joy to savour. I can not wait to return."

  • "From top to bottom, the food, the wait staff and the ambiance exceeded our expectations. If you have a group of just romantic dinner for two , Cote D'Azur is the establishment to visit. This is a special place off the beaten path with easy parking. Can't wait to return."

  • "Great food. Scallops are truly noteworthy. Sea bass was delicious and veal looked great. On a Saturday night, either come early or late as limited space makes the restaurant very tight unless you get a booth. Hard to have a private. Conversation as noise level was quite high."

  • "I love this spot, the food is outstanding, if you really enjoy French food you will really enjoy Cote D Azur. So glad to have it in my neck of the woods. It's perfect for a romantic, night out with someone you love. The dress code is great, I love to get dressed up and it's nice to see everyone else dresses properly dinning besides you. A true gem! You feel as if you are transported far away from the minute you enter this lovely place, somewhere in the south of France.just perfect."
