City KitchenBest Brunch By Far...... in a long time! We had an unbelievable time this Sunday. We arrived just after noon and were treated to extraordinary tastes! I had the CK Monte Cristo and my fiance enjoyed a wonderful avocado and goat cheese omelette. The Kitchen is putting together some truly exceptional entrees. Of course the mimosas are a fun touch to any brunch and you'll enjoy them here, too. The service was great and made our visit today a reason to return. Well this one is great, even their outdoor seating is very nicely decorated and you forget behind you is the mall.
Sushi is awesome. If you ever tried Sushi in Mexico (which is great), this is the closest thing I've ever found in the U.S.
Great pizza too. My friend had the three course menu and loved it.
Service staff is very friendly and efficient. On my last visit, I split a city kitchen roll for an appetizer and had the trout as my entree... wow, just wow. DELICIOUS!! Definitely one of the best meals I have had in a long time. The trout was cooked just right and the sides were paired perfectly. We had the crab cakes and short ribs for appetizers and loved them. The Smoked NC Trout was incredible. The best thing is that they were able to accommodate our son's food allergies; which are many. The patio is surrounded by plants of all sorts so you do not even realize the parking lot is across from you. While most of the tables outside were full we did not feel crowded and could still hear each other talk.
The buffet was both visually appealing and absolutely delicious! Initially I was disappointed that there was not an omelet station however the buffet had such a variety of dishes that I never gave the omelet station a second thought. To top it off the desserts were positively amazing and I loved the portions. When noon arrived we were took advantage of the bottomless mimosas. The old place had wonderful food as does this one. We really liked everything we got. I was especially impressed with the poached shrimp appetizer. I highly recommend. Service was a bit slow and the credit card machine crashed. He was incredibly attentive and made very regular visits to out table to refill drinks and inquire about our satisfaction, even though it was evident that he was also very busy. In regards to the food, the buffet was more expensive than your average buffet ($30), but they had something for everyone. The best part about their food offerings is that almost all of them were healthy and made with real ingredients.
