  • "Ambience was cool and Food was great but don't come here to get a full sized entree . The Tapas style food was a little pricey but very tasty. We were in a booth which was cozy and romantic but the little tiny table that they serve the food on forces you to maneuver plates and drinks around to fit . You also have to lean over this little table to eat. The drink menu was awesome and I had a delicious mojito while my husband had absinthe served traditionally with the flaming sugar cube . The chocolate fondue was decadent .Overall a nice experience but again if you are looking for a big plate of food at a traditional restaurant table this is not that type of place "

  • "My sisters and I went to Ciro's for the first time on a Sunday night. Because it was a Sunday night there weren't many people and we had a private booth to ourselves. We had a few drink that were made with absolute perfection. I would recommend the bramble to anyone who lives bourbon with a fruity flavor or blackberry sage smash to anyone who loves a drink with bourbon be in a prominent taste. The chocolate fondue is a must, the churros are amazing dipped in chocolate or even on their own. The servers were also sweet and friendly and very knowledgeable on the various types of drinks on the menu. Can't wait to go back and see what's it's like on a Friday or Saturday night."

  • "Had a great time at ciros. I do recommend making a reservation as it seemed quite busy. Staff was very friendly and drinks were superb. Loved the individual booths that give great privacy for couples or groups. Fun speakeasy theme they stuck to quite well. Didn't get a chance to try the food but the menu looked interesting!"

  • "We just love Ciro's... The ONLY compliant is that it is Too Cold!!! Uncomfortably cold.... If you could work on this, everything would be perfect. It has been this way each time we go."

  • "I was in Tampa celebrating my birthday and I read a couple of reviews posted on Ciro's Speakeasy that were intriguing. So I made reservation for my friend and me to check it out. What a fantastic experience. I received a call the day before to confirm my reservation and to give me the required “password” to get into the restaurant. Did I mention that the restaurant is quite dark when you enter? So when you are seated, the only area visible within your view is your private booth. The waitress tells you the history of the theme behind the restaurant and guide your through the drinks (mostly served during prohibition) and the food selections. The menu items are all small plates, but good portions. . I can’t wait to go back."

  • "I really have no complaints. Great food, service, and I LOVE the mini booths."

  • "Great cocktails, live music, and very friendly waiters in a gloomy, dark setting that makes you think that you are underground (you are actually on the ground floor). The guy in the booth next to me was over-analyzing his date on their first night out for the whole time (my guess is that didn't go down too well...), but apart from that unnerving conversation it was a great experience. The deviled eggs were great, and so was the steak (a bit tiny, but hey, we are talking small plates)."

  • "This was completely a very cool and unique experience! I think everyone needs to go at some point-some them later. Drinks were awesome and the staff was great. Great time and want to go back!"

  • "Based on all of the hype, my husband and I were really excited to go. It was a super cool atmosphere, but we thought the food was very expensive and the quality wasn't that great. It was cool sitting in the booth with the closed curtain, however our booth was right across from the kitchen and they didn't close the curtain well enough, so we basically just stared into the kitchen all night. We will be back, but our expectations won't be as high."

  • "The whole concept was awesome. From finding the restaurant to knocking and giving the password, it was a totally different and unique experience. Would recommend and do it again!"

  • "Ciro's is a gem tucked away . . . easy to miss but worth finding. Great food (mostly small or share plates), service, and signature drinks."

  • "Service was good when we first arrived, but after we received our meal and wanted to order dessert, we waited for our waitress for over 30 minutes until we decided to leave without dessert. We had to call out in order to get her attention to get the check. Would have been a really nice experience if the service was carried through to the end."

  • "This place makes you feel like you're going back to the 1920's where people loved private parties. It's not glamorous like "The Great Gatsby," it's more like underground New York City with a hint of Moonshine. I made a reservation (got a password for the door) and we were seated in our own little canopy "room." I was impressed by the drinks because every drink is specialized for the 1920's and was delicious. The food was amazing as well. Just a heads up, the parking lot next to the restaurant is valet parking only."

  • "I am a big fan of the 1920's and Ciro's was the perfect place for me. The hostess called me the day of the reservation to give me the password. Once there the place was so quiet that it was hard to believe it was a restaurant and bar. Once inside we were escorted into a private booth. The staff was friendly, the ambience was romantic and the food delicious. The truffle popcorn was great and the signature 20's drinks were good. I can't wait to go back!"

  • "Went here as a treat with my guy - something I'd always wanted to do! I love the Prohibition era and love Jazz sounds - the combo of the two on a Monday night, plus the knowledge of the staff and ease of using Open Table was incredible! Everything was smooth, and it was an evening to remember... for all the best reasons! Thank you Open Table and Ciro's for a memory-maker! I am telling everyone about our time there! The food was drool-worthy and had us ohhh and ahhing both on presentation and taste! The drinks were fantastic and had something to choose from for everyone, though we stayed true to the vintage side of things for a more realistic experience! Everything was what we had hoped! Thank you! We can't stop smiling about this night!"

  • "This place was great. We didn't eat just had a few drinks late night. The staff was great and very helpful in recommending drinks and accommodating us at a very nice private booth. The drinks are a little bit pricey but if you are looking for a nice change of pace from you usual bar scene for a special occasion, this is the place. Definitely going back."

  • "Sometimes you just want a nice beer, and sometimes you want an experience. Ciro's is definitely more of an experience; from it's speakeasy ambiance to the exquisitely done cocktails. This isn't a place you would want to go every week (at least unless you're fairly wealthy), but it definitely makes for a wonderful treat and a great place to take the love of your life or a few close friends visiting from out of town. We are vegetarian so the menu wasn't all that appealing to us, but I could see many a foodie enjoying the more gourmet selections they offer. Overall though, I feel like this is a place better suited to get some cocktails and relax after a dinner elsewhere. A true gem in the area."

  • "No sign, knock on the door, give the password... the experience is magical from the start. Individual booths are curainted off and the lighting is very low. Amazingly knowledgable service. Our server knew everything about every cocktail in the place. This was our third visit, but our guests' first, and they were blown away by how neat this place is."

  • "Have been wanting to try Ciro's for quite some time and finally made. Only disappointment is that I didn't try it sooner. Ambience was perfect, food excellent and service was top notch. Don't make the same mistake I did and wait. Ciro's should be at the top of your list of new places to try. If you've been there before...what are you waiting for. For whiskey drinkers, try the Old Fashion. If you like rum, I highly recommend the Pain Killer. For food, the beef sliders and stuffed shrimp were divine. Don't forget to order the duck fries!"

  • "I chose to dine at Ciro's for my birthday. Along with my husband I brought my parents. Knowing my parents are seniors the host still sat us in a raised lounge booth that had only 3 1' square tables. It was difficult figuring how to place food. The restaurant was great had we been seated at a normal table to dine and away from the party of 8 that was getting annoying. My father was two feet away from me and I was having to yell for him to be able to hear me over the large party. Even after asking the management about the noise level nothing was done. We didn't stay long after dinner for dessert or drink but rather went outside to be able to talk. Great place for couple if you just want some drinks."

  • "It is hidden on the bottom floor of a low rise condo. There is a little 1 foot square sign that points to the Valet and you need to give them a secret password when they open the little peep hole door on the unmarked big wooden door. Once inside you are greeted with a 1920 bar scene and many romantic two person seating alcoves with transparent curtains. People watching can only be done from the bar area as the alcoves are pretty intimate. Since they base their concept on prohibition drinks are a big deal. I don't drink but my GF enjoyed the 2 she had very much. The food is a somewhere between tapas and entree size so sharing is easy and the taste is really good. There wasn't much meat on the lamb lollipops but the flavor was outstanding."

  • "I took my friend here for her birthday as she'd never been. The service was impeccable and attentive--Miles checked in every 15 minutes or so, enough to make sure we were ok, but not intrusive. He was very knowledgeable about the massive drink selections. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to be treated like royalty, without paying ridiculous prices."

  • "Took my boyfriend for birthday dessert/drinks. Couldn't have picked a better place for the occasion. The atmosphere is amazing! The service was outstanding.. loved all the recommendations. The wait staff/bartenders play the part really well and know how to make great drinks from that time period. Great for small groups or a romantic evening. Definitely going again!!!"

  • "This great little grotto bar is a fun place. It's not really fair to call it a restaurant, as those looking for a meal will be disappointed. What they offer are appetizers, hot and cold. Those offerings are fantastic. We had Duck Fat Fries and Cheese fondue. The sparkling gem here are the drinks. A simple gin and tonic was transformed by the quinine water that they use. The mai tai came christened with a beautiful edible orchid. The only detriment to our evening was the Valet. It is mandatory Valet parking and when I approached the valet to ask questions about the restaurant entrance, he barked at me FIVE DOLLARS TO PARK and refused to say anything more until I handed over the cash. Then drove my car like a madman backwards through the lot."

  • "Place was annoying. Little booth with curtain, did nothing for the ambiance? They could not mix a cosmopolitan, no cranberry juice? Order 4 tapas dishes to be brought out in stages...all came at once. Wasn't enough room on the table for all the food. I sent one plate back and virtually every 2 minutes someone tried to deliver it to the table and place it where, on the seat???? I would not recommend this restaurant. Once the novelty wears off from new clients they won't be back again for a second time...It will be closed within 2 years or so."

  • "we finally made our way to Ciro's Speak Easy and are so glad we did. we went on a double date and had a blast. Food and drinks were great. katie was such a great hostess, made us feel like we were at a party at her house. super attentive and friendly and had great food & drink suggestions for our first visit. our "booth" was cozy and seated 4 well. food was fun to share, drinks were great and the music and ambiance made us feel like we were back in the 1920's. we will definitely be back for more funtimes at the speakeasy!!"

  • "It was a little pricey since it's tapas and you have to get 3-4 dishes for two people to feel full plus you have to get drinks for the full experience, but it was definitely worth it for a nice date. The drinks were very well made, the service was great and the ambience was fantastic for a romantic evening. The seating areas feel less like a booth and more like couch, they close a curtain in front of you giving it a much more intimate feel."
