Our servers were very knowledgeable and helpful with our menu choices. We sampled some calamari as an appetizer, and both enjoyed terrific entrees. Wished the seats had cushions4/23/2013 12:00:00 AMthis was one of my top 5 Bmorethis was one of my top 5 Bmore restaurants for several years. the last time we ate here we chalked up the not-quite-good food to a holiday menu. because of the ambiance & service & past experience, I decided to bring a foodie friend for a Monday night dinner. now I'm concerned. the bruschetta that came with the 3 course fixed menu had at least 2 toppings that had a tinge of canned taste (however the house made ricotta was superb). and then the second course--the pasta was so overlooked that it clumped (but the shrimp were cooked to perfection). the desert, as always. almost made me forget about the slightly above average food. what happened to my Cinghale?!
