The food is consistently excellent and that is the main reason Chandlers remains our favorite Boise restaurant! The staff is extremely professional and they take great pride in the service they provide and the food they serve. The ambiance is intimate and private compared to so many other restaurants. We especially enjoy the piano music as it sets a lovely mood without overpowering the conversation at our table. We always look forward to our Chandlers dinners, and it is the first place we take our guests when they come to town.

Erik provided excellent assistance with our orders and we enjoyed a wonderful evening from the abalone appetizer to the scallops and ribeye and finished with the signature Chocolate Souffle. Thank you!

I traveled from NW Montana just so I could eat here for my birthday dinner. It was worth it and here’s why: - Belvedere martini was silky smooth and very cold. - Crab cakes were all lump meat, no filler. - Bread basket was warm and butter was soft - Limousine salad had an amazing, yet light Roquefort dressing. - Filet Mignon was cooked exactly as requested, so tender I probably could have cut it with a fork. - I ordered one Scallop to accompany my filet, and was so good with the perfect texture that I was sad when I swallowed my last bite. It was a busy Thursday night, but I could easily converse with my guest without yelling, and the subtle piano in the background was lovely. I never once felt like I was being rushed through my dinner. I’ll travel here again next year for my birthday, unless I can figure a way to get back sooner.

The food was great,, the band on the other hand was extremely loud…couldn’t even hear myself think. I was wanting out of there as soon as they handed us the check.. major headache

Always our favorite place for great food..but steak of course. Top professional, well trained staff which I appreciate so much after so many restaurants have lower level help. It feels special to spend an evening dining at Chandlers 💕

Chandler’s sets the bar for fine dining in Boise. It is a more polished and sophisticated European style dining experience than you get at most places around town. The staff is numerous and attentive, knowledgeable and helpful. The food is mostly traditional and consistently high quality and delicious. The scallops are a must for those who like seafood dishes, duck 2 ways for poultry lovers and then all their steaks are good. The value proposition is a personal one. If you want a professional and properly done dinner service with excellent service and food…and if you are willing to pay to get it, this is the place for you. If you are looking for something novel, willing to gamble as to whether the staff knows knows a Cabernet Sauvignon from a Sauvignon Blanc…or trying to get dinner out at a bargain price, this is probably not for you. I personally am a fan of the main dining room whenever they have live piano music. The high back booths and the dimly lit bar vibe remind me of someplace Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack would have been completely at home in.
