The wine menu was truly fun and the $50 dollar wine page offers a fun and extensive selection beyond the main wine list. The owner is friendly and always tries to meet arriving customers in the parking lot (a real nice touch). I've never been disappointed with the food and even though the restaurant is expensive it's well worth it. There's nothing equal to it in the Colorado Springs area. Carlo's has instituted an additional "early bird" menu which is the same as his regular menu but at half price (and of course smaller portions). The smaller portions didn't bother us because with a shared appertizer and shared salad we were both stuffed.
