Dined here many years ago but found it was still open. The chef has been there for 38 years and is still turning out a very good dining experience. Traditional French cuisine with some having a modern twist. Reasonably priced French wine list. A definite hit when looking for an upscale dining experience in Annapolis.

We had a wonderful dinner. I had the halibut with fig special. My wife and son split a rack of lamb. The service was fast and friendly. Strongly recommend.

My daughter and I enjoyed lunch at this quaint Café. The food was unusual in a good way if you ever have an interest in eating something new their options are plentiful. I particularly enjoyed the Niçoise salad! The service was perfect. Our waiter Sean made great recommendations and personalized our service when he tailored my daughter's cappuccino to her liking. we will be returning for some of those delicious crêpes.

We are regulars at Cafe Normandie, we go several times a year and often bring out of town guests. Favorites are the cream of crab soup, the spinach mushroom crepe, eggs Benedict and the trout almandine. Bloody Mary's and Martini's are both well done. This last visit my husband loved his special, the haddock on focaccia, very tasty. We also like their house salad, always crisp and cold and the house dressing is ideal. Waitstaff are efficient and friendly although sometimes it can be a little slow when the place is full which is often. Decor is very French and inviting and the music is low level and suits the atmosphere. Annapolis is lucky to have Cafe Normandie as a staple.

The wait staff is undermanned, inexperienced, overwhelmed, and clueless. There is no dedicated bartender. It’s been like this for over a year. The food is great, but the service is worthless. $48 is a lot to pay for a rack of lamb that consists of four of the tiniest lamb chops you’ve ever seen. This place could be SO much better with some competent wait staff leadership.
