  • "Celebrated my birthday at Ten/Ten. Food was AMAZING! Escargot was delicious and unique with a pesto sauce, oysters clean and fresh. The French onion soup was not overbearing with too many onions and just the right amount of salt. Then the spring pea ricotta gnocchi were warm and creamy on the inside and lightly caramelized on the outside. Just perfect with a light sauce and lots of fresh peas and topped with the best snapper with the skin crisped to perfection. So good! All served by our friendly waitperson, Anni. Great service to go with the great food!"

  • "I chose this restaurant for my 31 wedding anniversary. We were early for your reservation and the place was busy for a Sunday night. They were very accommodating. The attention and professionalism from the moment we arrived (by offering a glass of bubbly while we waited for our table) was outstanding. Our server was attentive but gave us space to have our private conversations. The tempura green beans were yummy and our entrees were spot on (Steak Frites and Poulet). Having lived in France in the past, we appreciated the quality of food and amazing flavors and presentation. It was a surprise that they presented us with a candle lit dessert! We will return the next time we are in Boulder!"

The noise level is very high and to me, that is a drawback. Brunch was delicious!!! Probably the best brunch in Boulder."

  • "Our server, June, was fantastic. She was very friendly and extremely competent and did her best to make up for the lackluster meal. My wife ordered Steak Frites and the first iteration came out cold and with the wrong sauce. The second version, while hot, was some of the toughest "Hanger Steak" either of us have ever encountered. As I told June, I have had horse-meat steak served in Paris that was more tender than this "alleged" hanger steak. I ordered the rack of lamb which consisted of two chops, goat cheese and Ratatouille. While everything was "tasty" the two chops were the thinnest lamb chops I have ever encountered. From our perspective and experience, this restaurant is clearly a BIG MISS."

  • "Brasserie Ten Ten is a very lively spot with a strong brasserie feel. The food was excellent. The crepe appetiser was delicious and the gnocci with peas, pea shoots and a light tarragon sauce was phenomenal. The wine recommended by the waiter was a perfect compliment to the meal. The only downside is the noise level...but it is a friendly, happy sort of noisiness."

  • "We had a party of 5 for Sunday night, June 15. Four meals were good but I ordered the Sea Bass, at the recommendation of the waitress, and it was terrible. It came with two small, thin pieces that were dry. I told the waitress and she said she would tell the cooks, but no substitution was offered. Fortunately my wife ordered the ribeye special and couldn't eat it all. She offered me some and it was good. I was very disappointed that Brasserie Ten Ten had served such a poor meal. We spent about $260. overall."

Only draw back is noise level, which often exceeds energetic to painful, and difficult to have any reasonable communication around the table. After all, this is a restaurant and not just a bar. Still, it's worth enduring the noise for the overall great value. Reservations ALWAYS recommended."

I has the speciality salad and the steak and frites which were awesome. The Valrhona Chocolate Cake for dessert was simply to die for. The French wine selections were excellent and I thought the value was quite good. Viva la Boulder!"

  • "We did not really enjoy our huevos rancheros. Too many overfirm tortillas, really small eggs, sauce very underspiced. And the specialty daiquiri was a joke - more like an icy, a full glass of chipped ice and a little liquid. On top of that conversation was very difficult. There was so much noise and no noise absorption."

  • "The apps and mains we ordered we mostly very tasty. Only one dish was less than ideal: the Sea Bass was a little dry. The Chicken Special was a hit with our group as were the Mussels and Escargot. Salads were nicely balanced. Unfortunately, the service was sub-par and put a real damper on what was otherwise a very nice meal. It was very difficult to hear our server and she made no attempt to be heard over the din of the lively environment. Nor did she make an effort to share the nuances of either the menu or the specials. On top of that she remained inattentive through the meal and required us to flag her several times for assistance. Disappointing to say the least. Nevertheless, the evening was still a winner."

  • "It was my first time at the Brassiere and we went there as a "last supper" before my sister left to go back to Iowa. It was fantastic! Great service, wonderful food. They had a very vast food and beverage menu which is always nice so everyone can find something they like. I could tell the waitstaff was very knowledgeable about what they were serving which is always a plus. I also thought the food came to our table relatively fast as well. "
