  • "We had a group of six meet for dinner at the Santa Ana Black Angus on a Tuesday evening. Parking is plentiful and easy. When we entered the restaurant, we were given a friendly greeting and escorted to a nice table. Everyone enjoyed beer, wine, and cocktails before dinner. For main course two couples did the dinner package (1 appetizer, 2 main dishes, 4 side dishes, & 1 dessert), which turned out to be outstanding value. We had filet mingon, salmon, and chicken, all with excellent side dishes & desserts. The restaurant was very clean, the ambiance was nice, and our service was superior. We plan to go back soon, and we highly recommend the Santa Ana Black Angus."

It seemed as if he was bothered with it. The dining experience was very uncomfortable. We were extremely disappointed and wish we had gone somewhere else"

  • "I have gone to this black angus many times either for lunch and we have had most of our celebrations here, but for the first time we had the worst waitress ever, she acted so disinterest and cold , not friendly at all like we were bothering her she even made a face when I decided to change my order slightly. She never came by to aska us if we needed anything she only came by to remove our plates and I felt like she just wanted us to leave"

  • "Okay, I have dined at the Black Angus for years and I always love it! That said, this place is in serious need of an upgrade to their wine list. Aside from that, the food is always, fresh, has great taste, and is plentiful for the quality/price ratio. Staff could seriously use some training for wine service as well...wow it was bad!!! Regardless, I will always go back because I enjoy the atmosphere, the music especially, and I love a good steak house that bleeds the cow instead of myself when I eat there! :-)"

My wife Marylou, daughter Racher and grandson Madrid. They had a blast. I recommended this place cause I've been here before. And although I had a choice of anywhere in the county I choose this Black Angus."

  • "We celebrated a retirement with a delicious meal which was so good we had to bring some home. We had drinks but no room for dessert. From the front door the the check everything was better than expected. We ate sirloin steak, ribs, chicken and shrimp (3 on one meal), soup, salad, baked potato, baked bread and cocktails for less than dinner for two elsewhere. Black Angus exceeded our expectations once again, as we were last here for Mothers Day. We'll see you again for our next special occasion, or just a romantic dinner for two!"

  • "Hubby & I came here 4/30/14 for our anniversary & had the 6oz. filet mignon each. The food & service were great. My filet was medium rare instead of medium, which I prefer; but I didn't let that stop me; it tasted fantastic. Grilled asparagus was to die for & loaded baked potato yummy. Dessert was decadently delicious & chocolaty. For Mother's Day, father & son took me to dinner at my restaurant of choice - Black Angus! We had reservations, luckily, because the place was jumping. I ordered the salmon, Dad had the filet mignon again & son had the 12 oz. rib eye. All the food was delicious, but the filet was 4oz. at best & the rib eye was maybe 9oz. including a large piece of fat and gristle. I'll come again but not on a holiday."

  • "I made dinner reservations for Mother's Day dinner and what a disappointment. There were 7 of us total and they crammed us all into a small booth that would have sat 5 people comfortably. There was an open, larger booth right across the way too! They brought complimentary bread and with 7 people at our table, they still brought the same amount as they normally do, one oversized roll to share. We immediately asked for more. My daughter ordered Mac & Cheese kids meal. It arrived ICE COLD. COLD like it just came out of the fridge or something. Lastly, they don't serve Coke and never mentioned that when I ordered a Jack & Coke. I sent it back & got a ice tea instead. The service wasn't great and it wasn't all that busy either. "

  • "My husband and I try to get to Black Angus a few times a year as a date night restaurant. In the past it has been very pleasant. However, we have noticed that the service is a total crap shoot. You might get a great server, or someone you never see. That was the case with our last server. We were there with our kids, for our son's 19th birthday. My kids love steak, so this was a treat. Our server was so slow! It took 20 minutes just to get our drinks. Then we went through 2 loaves of bread before we finally got our overcooked appetizers. The main entrees were just ok. I've also noticed a decline in the quality of the food. Too much fat on the prime rib. Only half is edible. Such a shame."
