I have had the wagyu steak, Beef Wellington, and the salmon here. It never disappoints, as the food here is the BEST I have ever eaten! It’s pricey, but worth it if you are wanting something AMAZING! Even their drinks (I had the desert pear lemonade) are 11/10!

Second night here. Food was excellent, perhaps a little too much food. Tried the poke taco appetizer which was very good. Service was really good, and the restaurant is very quiet and decorated nicely.

The main dishes were very good, the short ribs with gnocchi was a stand out. The grilled cauliflower with a vinaigrette was a bit disappointing. Service was great.

I was surprised to see gratuity of 20% is automatically included in the bill. I didn't notice this was the case while looking at the website or making reservation (did I miss it?!). Why not just make it one price? Does this mean you don't pay your servers very well and you put the onus on the customer? Pairing of wine and chief selections were amazing. No complaints there. Great service as well.

The food was terrible. The brussels sprouts were burnt, cauliflower and broccolini were undercooked. The red wine was at least 80 degrees and undrinkable. The bone in filet was good but that is it. The young servers did not have a clue and need some basic training. Would never return!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The atmosphere and service at Z's Steak and Chop Haus is second to none! Our food was prepared well, but pricey. We've had the same caliber of cuisine at other establishments for a lot less. The fact that the desserts offered are just smaller versions of the items prepared by The Bakery next door at double the price is a bit insulting. Aside from that, it was a great experience.

A bit pricy for Ala Cart. Vegitables should always compliment the meal and it costs the establishment next to nothing. We ordered Brussels sprouts, they did not blanch them first and were extremely hard. We asked for a replacement which they had deep fried, again not blanched first and still hard and not edible. Complimentary bread was delicious and our salmon and hanger steak was perfect.

Celebrated our 7 year wedding anniversary here and we were seated immediately with a bottle of sparkling cider with chilled glasses waiting for us. Our server was happy, kind and informative, the chef even came out to greet our table and wish us well. I had scallops and risotto special and my husband had the hanger steak and it was absolutely delicious. The poke nachos were delicious as well. Entire experience was epic and I'm looking forward to dining here again in the future.

My wife’s fish was over cooked, dry with bones. Replaced with a piece of salmon. Seasoning was overdone and so salty hard to eat. She left much of her fish. We won’t be back.

Please don’t waste your money by staying at zermott resort! This restaurant was ok though. We got the chefs special of scallops and risotto . No soup or salad. We had to be asked if we wanted bread, so we got two warm rolls. I expected more for a 40 dollar meal. The booths were apparently made for children. My wife and I couldnt sit across from each other due to our knees hitting. I’m 200 pounds and 6 feet tall and could barely sit in the booth.

Overall the ambiance is dated, despite going with the old world Swiss theme. The food was very mediocre, especially for a place that wants to be high end. EXCEPT, the filet was cooked perfectly and was one of the best cuts of meat I’ve had in 30 years. The chicken parmigiana was ordinary, and the sides looked they has been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. The filet and our server, who was attentive without being overbearing, were the highlights of a relatively unremarkable meal.

The food was delicious and the staff were very nice, but they only had one waitress for the entire restaurant. We were early enough that our food came in a timely manner, but as the restaurant filled up our waitress disappeared. We waited a very long time for our bill. We had a party of seven and five of our party got up and left while I waited for the bill.

Incredible food, beer and service. Not sure why they don’t advertise their events. Zermatt used to put on a lot of fun things including Easter egg hunts, Easter breakfast with the bunny, summer concerts and Christmas meals with Santa. Not sure if this is the new Corporate mentality, but I would hope the current management understands what it means to be a community business and not a corporate mule.

We have always loved Zs but the food was off this time. The chicken parm and the pasta were cold. The ribeye was not near as good as it used to be. It has always been my second favorite ribeye but this one was lacking the normal flavor and was tough. The server was great but the food was a definite miss. I don’t know if something has changed in the last year or if they were just having a bad night. We will definitely give it one more try but for a $120 dinner I hope next time it will be back to the way it used to be.

Friends in town, so 6 for dinner this evening. Fine dining in casual atmosphere. Great menu choices including vegan and gluten free. Entrees included several steak choices, the schnitzel, and the gumbo. While the steak choices were the hit, the schnitzel and gumbo were very good also. All meals cooked to each person's liking, very tasty, and large portions, several doggie bags needed to enjoy leftovers tomorrow. Nice beverage choices to complement your meal. Large restaurant, very busy tonight, yet server's kept up well, close by when needed without hovering. Definitely be back in the future.

The service was excellent and the dining room is gracious and comfortable. The food was very good and the presentation was lovely. There was a large selection to choose from for dinner and breakfast. All the baked goods were excellent...rolls, biscuits and pastries. The dinner rolls were outstanding. They definitely have a master baker on staff. We enjoyed two dinners and two breakfasts during our stay.

Very disappointed. This is the first bad review I’m giving on Open Table. First things first, my short rib come out cold, and my wife’s salad came out soggy. However, annoying that was (especially for a $51 dollar meal), it doesn’t even compare to the waitress putting butter on my wife’s steak after we specifically told her that my wife was allergic to dairy. My wife was sick immediately after we left the restaurant. The waitress was rather inattentive. On several occasions I had to flag down a random waiter just to get something like a steak knife (which did not come out with my meal for some reason?) or a refill of water. I am sad to say that we won’t be returning.

To spend $100 on a meal means you should leave feeling like it was worth the money. The $14 crab appetizer was awful! It literally tasted like cat food. The cauliflower side was not good and the steak was not worth $47 . Overall the food was not good.
