AAA Four Diamond restaurant located at the Virginia Beach oceanfront, Zoës originally opened in 2003, and re-opened under new ownership on March 16, 2009. Chef Jesse Wykle has teamed with long time friend and renowned sommelier, Marc Sauter, as well as devoted restaurant goers Bill and Joni Greene, to continue the Zoës legacy with the same great location, friendly staff, soothing ambience, and award-winning food and spirits.

Together, their hope is to offer their guests a wonderful dining experience that has a comfortable, familiar atmosphere, yet that special touch of class that makes Zoës “the place to go when you absolutely must impress your guests.”

Reservations are recommended but walk-ins are always welcome. Sundays are reserved for private parties and Zoës Special Events.

Took my wife here for Valentine's Day! There was a prefixed 4 course (really 6-course) menu which was very good! It was a bit pricey but we knew hat going into it. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

I found this restaurant on Open Table and the menu and the reviews convinced me to try it. I was very happy with my decision! We were visiting my niece and celebrating her new job. The cocktails and lounge waiting area were a nice start. Kate was our server and she was excellent from beginning to end. The Lobster Sausage pops were scrumptious and we all loved our steaks. The crab mac and cheese was worth every calorie and we definitely took advantage of the Scratch and Dent Wine List, I loved the concept. The only disappointment was that we were all too full for dessert...maybe next time.

I have been to Zoes before, but I believe you can’t truly review a restaurant until they have proven themselves on multiple occasions. This place has.

The sommelier, Marc, is a true master of pairings and the only one south of NYC I can personally give that credit to. He is passionate over his craft and takes great pride in ensuring both the wine and food are elevated in his suggestions. In particular, we experienced a rare White Port with our Roquefort during the cheese course, and it was just perfection. Many other elements were outstanding: the pickled quail eggs in the Caesar salad were a lovely touch, the Miyazaki Wagyu was prepared beautifully, and after having multiple surgeries on my leg it was refreshing to be immediately accommodated at a larger table (so I could elevate my cast) upon our arrival.

Still, to me the pairings are why you go here. We have been to Michelin starred restaurants across the globe, and here in our little town of Virginia Beach this place holds its own. Thank you Zoes! We will return again.

Date night with my Wife. Read the reviews and decided to try something new. The interior gave a warm and cozy feel to it, and gave a romantic feel. We decided to get the wine pairing with our dinner and it was worth it. The narration by the sommelier was great and made for a fun and interesting evening. The food was fantastic as were the wine pairings. Would highly recommend to anyone that is into wine and really good food.

I booked this restaurant for my Sons birthday. He and his wife had a wonderful time. The service was great and the food delicious. The staff had a birthday card on the table when they arrived and later brought two cupcakes with a candle. Great atmosphere.
