    Our visit to Zenders for my annual birthday dinner was met with some changes we were not aware of prior to our visit. Zenders has changed their rewards program and apparently we missed the memo, if there was one! After some extensive checking I was allowed to get my birthday dinner but going further an app downloaded to your phone is necessary for rewards and there is no longer a free birthday meal, I think! The instructions/explanations were not very clear from the staff. I guess you spend money and scan your code in the app and collect points to earn $. I was told 2000 points equals $10.00. We will see if future trips will be part of the birthday celebrations. Chicken dinner is $31.95 per person. It was delicious as always and the staff was excellent however kinda pricey on a retirement budget!

    We were a parry of 2 . Seated very quickly and in a nice booth. Our waiter was super attentive and very pleasant. The food was plentiful and we enjoyed the family style chicken dinner. It was not the best fried chicken ever ever had but it was very good. The whole meal was a great experience.

    We always go to Zehnder’s for birthday dinners. As always everything was fantastic. Our server Lea was the best. Thanks for making my birthday a great day!

    My husband and I have been dining at Zehnder’s for 40 years. We are experiencing the same great times with our grandsons as we did with our daughters when they were growing up. The food is always delicious and the experience never gets boring.

    The meal is a little pricey. Cabbage salad was great but buttered noodles and stuffing are bland/unappetizing. The bakery and marketplace are great and worth a visit. Very odd that there are no German wines on the menu to taste what is for sale.

    Our reservation was right on time. Our hostess got us right to a nice table with plenty of room. Our server was excellent--Colton I believe. He was helpful, knowledgeable, accurate and kept right on top of anything that was needed...before we asked. He did a GREAT job. The food was all good...tasty, appealing (we ordered off of the regular dinner menu--3 family style chicken dinners, chicken phyllo and the lake perch). I will say that Zehnders is very pricey regarding the meals, but I guess you go there for the experience as much as the food.
