   Way too expensive for light eaters. They let us order from the lunch menu and it was cheaper and just the right amount of food for us. Good service. Food ok.

   I was not optimistic about this place due to negative reviews by locals. However, it was very good. Our server, Alex, was super friendly and accommodating. None of our party ordered the chicken, but bratwurst, prime rib, schnitzel and eggplant parm were excellent. Bread is wonderful and sides delicious. The building is lovely with many interesting things to look at. Also despite being very full it was not at all loud. I did take off one star for waiting to be seated but we were ten minutes early for our reservation and were seated right on time. Thank you Zehnder’s!

   Everything was really good. Service was excellent. Tables are small for the amount of food they give you.

   We love the atmosphere , and it's always very pretty and welcoming, service and food are always excellent, we just love it.

   We drive from Grand Rapids, Grand Ledge, and Lapeer for a friends gathering at Zender’s and that works well at your beautiful facility. We enjoy the day together.
