Very friendly staff. Not much interior charm, table was a bit too small and chairs were uncomfortable, noise level is loud at lunch. Amenities such as ice water and paper napkins are in low supply. We were careful in ordering food and appreciated the chili pepper symbols next to the spicy dishes, but even the non spicy dishes (eggplant) were really spicy. Best to confirm spiciness with server. Our duck, pork and eggplant were just okay. If you like really spicy food this is your spot.

Going to restroom from your table will be challenging, there is no wall way between table I’m not sure city will allow those kind of capacity, some food was good some not but food was pricy & on top of it they charge surcharge ( 10% ) for them to operate their restaurant then plus tax plus tip so 35% - 40% on top of the menu! It’s not for me ( pay check to pay check ) to spend unreasonable dinning out ! The first time & will be my last time if you are millionaire then good luck !

Loud music not in keeping with an authentic Chinese restaurant and tables squashed together. The staff were very nice, but felt a bit rushed to order, so much on the menu hard to choose quickly. Food was average, shared Gyozas but very liquidy and felt uncooked. Pork shoulder mainly a plate full of fat. Chicken dish spicy and average and noodles small portion for 4 people. Overall an expensive and not satisfying meal, not what I expected for such a high rated restaurant. Won’t be back.

Z&Y is fantastic for a group. The large round tables and lazy Susans accommodated our group of 11, all food was fabulous and shared family style. We had a blast! Everything was so delicious and reasonably priced. Will be back for sure!!
