The service and food were.both excellent. I'm glad we went.. This was my first time there. The outside area did not have any curb appeal and I wish we ate downstairs where the atmosphere was more lively.

Updated Review: A Truly Fantastic Turnaround - Thank You Yauatcha! After a previously disappointing visit due to a very poor reception experience, I was kindly invited back to Yauatcha for brunch-and I'm so glad I gave it another chance! From the moment we arrived, The hostess team was warm, welcoming, and incredibly professional, making us feel valued from the start. The entire staff went out of their way to ensure that this time, everything was perfect-and it truly was. The food was absolutely outstanding, the cocktails were incredible, and the attention to detail shown by the team throughout our visit made it a truly memorable experience. Every member of staff we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely looked after. The atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed, and we couldn't have asked for a better setting to enjoy our brunch. It's rare for a restaurant to turn things around so completely, but Yauatcha truly delivered. I want to thank the team for their gracious hospitality and impeccable service- you not only met expectations, you exceeded them. I now absolutely love this place and will definitely be coming back. Thank you again for restoring my faith in your brand and showing how professional you guys are!

The dim sum was fantastic however the main course was nearly inedible. The cuts of the chicken and pork in the main entrees were fatty and grisly. Would not recommend even for the price.

Yauatcha Soho was an great dining experience. Visiting London for several days and searched for a restaurant near our Hotel in Leicester Square and we were very glad we found Yauatcha Soho. It was perfect. The food is outstanding, exceeding our expectations which were high to begin with the reviews we had read. The service was impeccable. We asked and received a quieter spot in the restaurant. We will return at every opportunity and will share our recommendation with friends. It is definitely a not to be missed dining experience.

Regularly eaten here and at the City location for many years. Today was very disappointing. Over cooked chicken, ‘claggy’ rice and shrinkflation on the prawn roll. Will seriously consider if worth keeping on my ‘go to list’.

Disappointing experience — poor management ruined my only night in London I arrived exactly at the time of my reservation, but my table wasn’t ready. Upstairs was busy, but there were clearly plenty of free tables downstairs. I was asked to wait at the bar and, when I mentioned I was hoping for a quick dinner, they offered to serve me there. Unfortunately, dining at the bar meant virtually no service — just a bartender taking my order, so no opportunity to ask for recommendations or get any attention. Some of my food arrived cold, but there was no one around to speak to about it. Despite this, they still asked for a service charge and a tip. I was the only guest eating at the bar, while tables in the main dining area began to free up — yet no one offered to move me inside. I didn’t order anything else and decided to leave. This was supposed to be my only dinner in London, and the experience was sadly disappointing — especially coming from a restaurant that used to be one of my favorites in the city. The staff seemed ok, but it’s clear that poor management is behind the decline in service quality.
