   Three of us went there for lunch. There is not much competition in Woodside in terms of restaurants. This is the only restaurant to go to unless you want to spend a big chunk of your salary at the other restaurant -- Woodside Pub. There is also Buck's next door but the irritating smell of bacon and ham is so heavy and nauseating, Buck's could not be an option. The receptionist, an elderly woman was so rude, she did not hold the door when she led us to our table and let the door shut on my face. Why should she care? There is not any competition and this is the only place to go in Woodside. They can get away with rudeness as well as terrible items in the menu. I ordered a salad which seemed like the only edible item given the rest was greasy animal protein heavy menu. When all three of us ordered the small salad, the server suggested an item that had lamb in it. We could not believe Woodside is so backward that they still have people who live there who eat baby animals. Can't they at least keep baby flesh off the menu? Our salads were ok, nothing special.

   Not only is there yummy bakery goods, but the food at Woodside Bakery & Cafe is superb! Our Waiter Raoul was very accommodating when we moved from the patio to the bar due to the chilly wind. Glad we moved- it was very interesting to watch the artistry of the chefs as they produced amazing dishes! Mussels were cooked perfectly in a lovely sauce, & the rack of lamb and rib eye steak were seasoned to enhance the flavor of the meat. Definitely going back!

   First of all, the bread they give you as you order is incredible. Add EVOO and Balsamic vinegar and you'll be closer to heaven. Our table had two salads and a grilled swordfish main plate. The sslads were huge and we'll prepared. They tasted fresh and we're not lacking in ingredients. The swordfish was perfectly cooked and had wonderful flavors. Just prior to the host stand is a bakery that needs your attention so you con pick up something for the next morning's breakfast.

   Premises did not appear clean and well kept up. Wait staff seemed indifferent and an inattentive.

   Great place to eat. Menu has something for everyone. Our favorites are the rack of lamb and the pot roast! Wish the restaurant was a little larger as inside tables are right on top of each other. Good makes it worth it tho. Service was great.

   Woodside Bakery is a good choice when looking for a breakfast or lunch option, as both are served much of the day. My wife's omelet and my quiche were very good, as was the side order of french fries. Service was a bit slow, but dining outside on a warm & sunny winter day was delightful. Prices are very reasonable, making Woodside Bakery a go-to restaurant when in Woodside.

   it's great to be able to stay in town and not break the bank, love sitting outside under the heating lamps in January!

   On a Sunday at 6pm: The lamb shank with seasonable vegetables from the garden was very tasty although portions somewhat small. I didn't care for the bread although appreciate the olive oil and vinegar on the table. Besides the seasonal garden veggies and the Niman burger (which I didn't have) I would very much would have liked to see more organic/sustainable options including grass-fed beef, pastured chicken, etc. to reflect values such as more respect for the environment, the animals we eat and quality of human life in the future. This is the 2nd time eating here and the service was fair: we got our food in a timely manner, but the attitude was one of being rushed (there were empty tables around), not friendly at all. Even though we were seated inside, the cold air from the frequent opening of the patio door did not enhance our experience.

    This was our fourth or fifth time here, and we both had the lamb rack (again). Always good. While some dishes here can be hit-and-miss (I had a bland shrimp salad main once, and a slightly under-cooked half roast chicken), this one always seems to be delicious. The meat was cooked to perfection (slightly pink in the middle with running juices) and the accompanying pasta with oil and garlic, and wilted spinach very complimentary. Good local wines by the glass, and the warm just-cooked bread they bring to the table to start with is delicious. They were out of their delicious chocolate mousse for dessert, but that's probably a good thing! The double chocolate mousse cake is a good substitute. Good friendly service and relaxed place to dine.
