The Wind & Sea Restaurant is located on the water in the Dana Point Harbor. With water on three sides, every table has a spectacular view.
We serve fresh fish selections daily as well as Lobster tail, shrimp, steaks, and vegetarian dishes.

Monday through Friday (not available Holidays and Special occasions) we have Hawaiian Happy Hour from 4:00 to 7:00 featuring our world famous Mai Tai's as well as draft beer, wine and food specials. Big screen TV's, keep the lounge exciting at all times.

The waterfront open-air patio serves the full menu and is heated at night, perfect for an order of nachos and a margarita or a full dinner under the stars. Private banquet facilities accommodate 20 to 75.

We had a beautiful view of the sunset over the bay as we devoured the grilled artichoke. Steak and salmon, cocktails and wine made for a perfect Thursday night out.

We have been here several times, we really like the fish and chips (extra crispy). But tonight the slaw was pretty tasteless, a disappointment.

We had an amazing birthday lunch with friends. Window table, so relaxing watching the seals frolic & boat in the harbor was so relaxing. The food was delicious and the salmon Creek route was a perfect compliment.

Menu was nothing special. Soup was gelatinous, hot appetizer was cold, and cocktail was very poorly made. We left. Server was nice and may have attempted to fix but chose not to bother as 0 out of 3 made us feel underdelivering is the way they do things at Wind & Sea.

Excellent service by our server, Mikaela. We were there on Mother’s Day for an early dinner and it seemed understaffed. As a result, we waited a long time for our drinks and food. Otherwise the ambiance can’t be beat, with beautiful views of the harbor, watching boaters, paddle boarding and sea lions! The food is excellent and reasonably priced. Make reservations for the best seats.

Everything was under cooked. Won’t do a restaurant on Mother’s Day again. Restaurants can’t handle the volume and usually over priced to boot.

This was our first time a this restaurant. We recently moved from the San Francisco Bay Area, so it is nice to finally find a restaurant that standa above others we have tried in Orange County. The food quality and portions were excellent and well worth the price paid. There is nothing worse than paying a high, overinflated price for smaller portions or subpar food quality (something that unfortunately seems to be more and more common lately at most restaurants). We loved how the menu was very diverse and had something for all different tastes (especially since we have young kids). Service was far over and above what we typically have come to find at other Southern California restaurants. Everyone was very attentive and polite. Atmosphere was very nice with great a great location and beautiful views of the harbor. However, our only comment (not a complaint) would be that the restaurant is probably due for some updating. It was very clean inside and out, but had that 1970's vibe going on, which is similar to the other restaurant in the area. A little updating/modernization would go a long way. Overall, an excellent restaurnat and we'd highly recommend it. We'll definitely be returning on a regular basis. Thank you!
