Wildwood Restaurant - Geneva
Great service! Great food!
Decent food, but overpriced and nothing really too special about the dishes offered or the taste of the food. We really liked the bartender and drinks at the bar, and the service overall was good.
The food wasn't that good this time when we went for Sunday brunch!
Nice wine by the glass selection as well as an extensive wine list. A varied menu with many different selections available. The service was great!
Nice band in bar
My wife and I had a nice date. The food was excellent and service was top notch. A recommendation from a family member was just as advertised. We will be recommending this to our friends.
Best place for quiet elegant lunch place to dine.
This was our 2nd year consecutive year for dinning here on Valentines Day. We love everything about this place and will be back again in the near future!
I love this restaurant. The food is great and the portions are awesome. Huge wine list. Just fantastic. The only slight downside is that it typically takes a bit of time to get your bill. The wait staff are really fast to bring your drinks, apps, salad, entrees, drink refills, etc. But when you're ready for the bill, the server is helping other tables. This has been the case for the past three times there. Still a fantastic place.
The food was very good. It was Valentine’s day and after we were seated the restaurant got very busy. Our server had a hard time keeping up with all of his tables. Other than that everything turned out good.
Our server D’Andre made some great suggestions but we chose two items that will soon be in our list of favorite meals. Hubby had cowboy cut ribeye which was done to perfection! I selected the DELICIOUS Wisconsin Whitefish!
Oh yum!! It had an unexpected ingredient-Michigan cherries. It was filling, delicious, healthy, moderately priced and really YUMMY!
Great food at Wildwood, very disappointed about the table arrangements for Valentine's Day. It's very difficult to have an intimate dinner when the patrons at the tables on both sides of you are literally one foot away. Very surprised that a restaurant as good as Wildwood would cram so many tables too close by. The food is always great but it appeared last night that the service was extremely slow.
Was there for lunch. I had walleye fish and chips, wife had crab cakes. Both excellent. Topped it off with Tarim is.
Several of us had the flat iron steak which was delicious! One of our party had the duck breast which he pronounced fantastic! Others had comfort pasta dishes that were very good. Had nice round tabke fot the 6 of us in the corner by the window which was perfect. Noise level was low so we could actually have a conversation!!!! Very nice dinner experience.
We have eaten at Wildwood many times. Never has service been so SLOW.
Excellent food and service (Melissa), noisy - so not a quiet romantic place.
I live about 50 miles away but would return
Wildwood is an excellent restaurant. Eleven of us went and everyone enjoyed their food. Waiter was outstanding. The only issue is that the front door entrance is confusing and the bar staff was not as helpful as restaurant staff. We will definitely visit again!
Food was great. Service was outstanding! Haven’t been back here in over 8 years and was surprised to see that nothing has changed.
Terrible dining experience here for 4 adults. From food to service. Visited this restaurant a few years ago and had a similar experience and thought with time would show some improvement. Wine list is inadequate for a Wine Spectator restaurant. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
Had an amazing meal to celebrate my husband’s birthday! I can’t even put into words how great the evening was from the service to the food. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a high quality meal with exceptional service. I can’t thank the restaurant enough for am amazing evening.
Excellent food and ambiance. Hard to find entrance to dining room as this door is located further back on the street. Easy entrance is to the bar and then have to walk through the dining area to front desk
We enjoyed our dinner and appreciated the quiet atmosphere so we could talk.
Service was slow, forgot to take menus twice, didn't check back in a timely manner
We came for the Prime Rib. We were not disappointed! My husband said it was the best he had ever had! Great place for birthdays! Juan was a very attentive waiter! Great food and service! We'll be back.
We enjoyed the quiche du jour, which was mushrooms, carmelized onions, and bacon. Gran Marnier French toast was fine but hard to detect the liqueur.
Very decent portions for the price and drinks were reasonable though the mimosa was almost bitter.
Will definitely return.
We dined for about 2 1/2 hours and never felt rushed. The ambiance is quiet and we were able to easily converse. The service was delightful.
My wife had a salad with chicken, which was very dry and void of taste. I had the pork tenderloin, which was dry and not meat for the price. The serving of apple sauce and coleslaw was very small. They tasted okay, but nothing to write home about. The service was average at best. There were two wait staff, with very few tables being occupied. Our waiter took our order, brought it and disappeared for what seemed a long time. I finally flagged him down and asked for our bill. Not a pleasant experience overall.
Wonderful surprise! Wonderful service Phyllis was our waitress, attentive and informative! French onion soup was great! Husband raved about the prime rib, it was huge! I has the filet cooked to perfection. You get a choice of salads, Cesar. Wedge, toss and a side, we chose the sauté spinach and Brussels Sprouts! Everything was wonderful!
Still the best restaurant around. We keep going back for the varied and creative menu. Especially like all the fish selections on the menu.
Enjoyed the meal and service.
While the place was not very busy the owner/manager seated us, we were met shortly thereafter for drink offering and server along with his staff were spot on!
Overall price was a great value.
Food was excellent!
Consistent quality & service, waiter was very personable and met our every need
Tony and Diandre were very attentive and provided excellent service. The food was good but not great. The shrimp cocktail wasn’t fully chilled and tasted a few days old. One in our party ordered a meal that was off the menu due to her severe food allergies. The staff asked multiple questions to make sure they got it right. We all really appreciated their attention to detail. We will be back.
Thank you for making my sons Birthday so special
The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I'd noted in Open Table that we were celebrating an anniversary and we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary dessert at the end of our meal.
Consistently excellent food, service was great. Never disappointed.
Food was delicious. Made a reservation and was seated on time
Overall a nice evening out. the restaurant was nice and the servers were all very friendly. They were very busy so the occasional wait for a drink (or drink menu) is totally understandable. For an appetizer we got the fondue which was good. The steaks (filet and 16oz ribeye) were excellent cuts and cooked perfectly. The only reason I rate a little lower is because there was no flavor. I couldn't even pick up a hint of salt. For the price of the meal I just felt I should have walked away saying wow I cant wait to get back there. Maybe an off night?
Food was good as usual. I understand it was New Year's Eve, but our server seemed a bit overwhelmed. She disappeared on us a couple of times. Our reservation was for 6:45pm, and they had already run out of the Prosecco we wanted.
Everything was great, as always.
Awesome as always...Thanks for a great new year meal
